1.Describiendo a mi familia

Es bueno recordar la estructura a seguir: (It is good to remember the structure to

follow):
SUJETO + VERBO + ADJETIVO

Él es amable.
Ella es muy inteligente.
Él tiene barba.
Ella tiene el pelo largo.

Recordar también que en español usualmente ponemos primero el sustantivo y

luego el adjetivo: (Remember also that in Spanish we usually put the noun first and then
the adjective)

2.Adjetivos para describir a las personas

En español algunos adjetivos cambian de género masculino o femenino, como:

alto/ alta : Mi hermano es alto / Mi hermana es alta.
delgado/ delgada: Mi papá es delgado / Mi mamá es delgada

In Spanish some adjectives change gender masculine or feminine, such as:

tall / tall: my brother is tall / my sister is tall.
slim / thin: my dad is slim / my mom is slim

• Mi familia es muy sociable.

• Mi hermana es muy responsable y sincera.
• Mi hermano es muy responsable y sincero.
• Mi tía es sociable pero mi tío es tímido.
• Mi prima es un poco egoísta

3.Describir la apariencia

• Mi mamá es muy guapa (bonita) y bastante joven.

• Mi hermano es un poco gordito, moreno y deportista.
• Mi abuelo es mayor y un poco delgado.
• Mi tío es bastante alto y deportista.

4.Describir el pelo

• El / Ella tiene el pelo corto ( He / She has short hair).

• Mi hermano tiene el pelo corto, castaño y rizado.

Para describir las emociones utilizamos el verbo “estar”.

Adjetivos de carácter y personalidad. / Adjectives of character and personality

En esta actividad, aprenderá el vocabulario de los adjetivos de carácter y personalidad.

Estos adjetivos son muy importantes para describir personas o animales. Por ejemplo,
podemos decir que Juan es una persona amable, feliz e inteligente; o que Laura es una
persona humilde, triste y pesimista. Son adjetivos que definen su carácter y personalidad.
Además, aprenderá a formar opuestos de una manera muy simple utilizando pequeñas
partículas (prefijos) que se colocan delante de la palabra.

(In this activity, you will learn the vocabulary of adjectives for character and personality. These
adjectives are very important to describe people or animals. For example, we can say that Juan is a
person who is nice, happy and intelligent; or that Laura is a humble, sad and pessimistic person.
They are adjectives that define their character and personality.
In addition, you are going to learn to form opposites in a very simple way using small particles (prefixes)
