Faith Formation
Annual Easter Egg Hunt
All are invited to participate in our Annual Easter Egg Hunt after the
12:00 Mass on Easter Sunday.
Wear your Easter bonnets and bring your baskets to find and collect
Easter eggs.
*****We are accepting donations of plastic eggs and candy for
the hunt. Please drop off your donations to Eileen DeJulio’s
office.
Summer Religious Education
Classes are filling up fast. If you have not registered your child for
this week long Faith Formation and Fun, please do so by April 20th.
Registrations forms are located on the information walls in the Nar-
thex and in the Religious Education Hall. The fee is $100.00 for one
child and $150.00 per family of two or more.
Catechist Formation Evening Event
The Department of Faith Formation requests that all Summer Reli-
gious Education Volunteers attend the Catechist Formation evening
on Wednesday, April 13th at 6:30pm. Dinner will be provided in the
Parish Life Center. You will have the opportunity to pick up your
teaching materials, view curriculums and schedules for the summer
program and meet and greet your fellow catechists. Please confirm
your attendance by calling Eileen DeJulio at 770-641-9720 ext 228 or
by sending an e-mail to religioused@standrewcatholic.com.
Volunteers Needed:
We are still accepting applications for volunteer catechists in the Faith
Formation Programs for Summer and Fall sessions. If you are inter-
ested in sharing your faith with the children of St. Andrew, please
contact Eileen DeJulio this week at 770-641-9720 ext 228. We also
need lunch volunteers for the summer program.
JPII Bookstore is looking for some volunteers. If you are interested in
working in the bookstore after any of the Saturday or Sunday Masses,
please contact Eileen DeJulio to be put on the schedule. Simple
training is provided.
EDGE/CHAMPS
The Youth Programs for grades 4th through 8th will begin in
full force again in September. Registration forms for this
wonderful social and service organization for youth will begin this
summer. Watch the bulletin for more information on upcoming
events.

who are the new parents of James Robert Barrett. James was born
on March 22, 2011 and weighed 7lbs. 11 oz. and was 19.25 inches

SECOND COLLECTION
Each Palm Sunday the Archdiocese of Atlanta takes a special collec-
tion to help assure that the sacred shrines in the Holy Land are main-
tained. These special places have been sites of Christian pilgrimage
and spiritual renewal for many centuries. Our faith is not dependent
on buildings or manmade objects, but on the Risen One who is with
us always wherever we may be. Yet these sites are of historical
value and reminders of the ministry and sacrificial offering of Christ for
our redemption. Your donation next weekend may mean another
candle for a dark shrine, a bit of spruce-up paint on a door, a warm
place to sleep for once-in-a-lifetime young pilgrims, the very bread
and wine for their daily Eucharist. Please be generous.
FRIDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY
The Friday Night Bible Study has concluded their classes for this
year. They will begin again in the fall with a new program. Please
watch the bulletin for more information.
All parents who wish to have their children baptized in the
month of June will need to attend a Baptism Class on
Monday, May 16th. Please call the office to register.
Parents will need to be registered and active members of the parish
for a minimum of three months prior to taking the class.

NOVENA TO THE INFANT OF PRAGUE
Wednesday, March 16th will begin the monthly Perpetual
Novena to the Infant of Prague which will be prayed daily
from the 16th to the 25th of the month before the 9:00am
Mass. Booklets are in the Narthex.
ST. MARTIN DE PORRES HOMELESS SHELTER:
St. Martin de Porres will be going downtown next Sunday,
April 24th If you are able to donate any of the following,
we would greatly appreciate it: Sandwiches -- peanut but-
ter and jelly or bologna and cheese on white bread in indi-
vidual sandwich bags. We ask for 40 sandwiches (4 loaves
of bread) from each volunteer, but any amount would be
appreciated. Fruit -- oranges and bananas are preferred Candy —
big bags of small candy bars are perfect. Powdered lemonade
mix - regular or pink. Also, we need plastic grocery bags to place the
meals in. Please bring your donations to the parish hall before
11:30am. If you need to bring your sandwiches before Sunday, you
can put them in the parish hall kitchen refrigerator and we'll find them.
Volunteers are also needed to help pack the lunches following 10:30
Mass. We do need someone to drive the lunches to the Union Mis-
sion. If you are interested in driving this Sunday or anytime in the
future, please let them know. It's easy and rewarding and you are
usually back by 2:00pm.

USED PROM DRESSES FOR FASHION SHOW
The Spanish Ministry is collecting gently used prom dresses and
shoes for a fashion show “Moda Real”. The purpose of this event is
to expose the girls to this American custom. Please bring dresses
before April 15th to the church office or drop them by the Spanish

The Elijah Cup is a chalice that is given to parishioners
and families to take home from Mass to use as a focal

MEN’S FELLOWSHIP
All men are invited to join us Friday, April 15th for 6:30am Mass/
Prayer Service followed by fellowship at 7:00am. We will have coffee
and doughnuts in the multi-purpose room, a brief speaker, a group
discussion, and close with a prayer promptly at 8:00am. This is a
forum for men of our parish to develop supportive relationships,
deepen their faith, and enjoy themselves. The Men’s Fellowship
meets every Friday; feel free to join us when you can.

BENEFICIOS DE ESTAR INSCRITOS EN ST. ANDREW

El pertenecer a St. Andrew le permite recibir múltiples beneficios como: participar
de clases, talleres, seminarios de crecimiento espiritual como personal y profesional.
De igual manera le da la oportunidad de integrarse y hacer nuevas amistades, de
recibir el numero de inscripción que lo identificara como miembro de St. Andrew
Catholic Church Este numero es el que debe usar en los sobres que encontrara en
las bancas todos los domingos para que deposite su diezmo. Al usar el sobre para el
diezmo cada domingo, usted deja constancia de que cumplió la obligación de oír
misa y que es un miembro activo de la comunidad.
Si llegara a necesitar una carta para la escuela de sus hijos, constancia de que
vive en el condado o para inmigración, solo podemos confirmar esa informa-
ción si usted está inscrito como miembro activo. De igual manera cuando necesi-
te ayuda económica o medica de San Vicente de Paul se le da preferencia si esta
inscrito en St. Andrew.
Por su beneficio tome una hoja de inscripción en el vestíbulo o pase directamente
por la oficina del Ministerio Hispano en horario de trabajo.
EL DIEZMO. Una hora de salario a la semana es lo mínimo que
debes considerar ofrecerle al Señor. Pon tú donación en los sobres
que encontraras en las bancas. Al usarlos con tu numero de registro a
cumples con tu responsabilidad de tesoro y asistencia a la misa.
SACRAMENTOS
BAUTISMO. Los padres tienen que estar registrados EN NUESTRA IGLESIA
y asistiendo a la misa dominical por tres meses antes DE TENER DERECHO A
PEDIR EL SACRAMENTO. REQUISITOS: DEBE presentar Acta de Naci-
miento del niño/a. DEBEN los padrinos estar casados sacramentalmente Y
traer copia del certificado de Matrimonio. Solteros: DEBEN ser mayores de 16
años de edad, y presentar certificado de CONFIRMACION. PAREJAS EN
UNION LIBRE NO CALIFICAN PARA SER PADRINOS. Platicas de prepa-
ración: OBLIGATORIAS PARA PADRES Y PADRINOS EN EL HORARIO
DE :7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Primer Martes de mes. Ceremonia Bautismal SEGUNDO SABADO
de mes a las 11:00 am. Todos los documentos tienen que ser entregados antes del día de la
platica. LOS BAUTISOS SE HACEN EN ESPANO Y NO BILINGUES.
MATRIMONIO. Inscritos en la parroquia. Reservar la fecha con seis meses
de anticipación. Certificado de bautismo actualizada, licencia pre-
matrimonial, clases de preparación LLASU (Llamados a ser uno). Cita con el
padre.
