2. PRESENTACION
Apreciado aprendiz,  la siguiente comunicación tiene como fin preséntale la guía de aprendizaje a
desarrollar donde aprenderá vocabulario técnico, adjetivos, y el tiempo presente simple en sus
formas afirmativa, negativa e interrogativa, a través de actividades prácticas y didácticas  con el fin
de afianzar los temas. 
 
Así mismo, se desarrollaran diferentes tipos de actividades orales y escritas para fortalecer las
habilidades propias de una segunda lengua; para el desarrollo de los talleres se espera su
compromiso, dedicación y puntualidad para ejecutar las guías y evaluaciones de manera que se
desarrollaran de forma individual y grupal según la necesidad en estas. 
 

3. FORMULACION DE LAS ACTIVIDADES DE APRENDIZAJE

La mayoría de las instituciones educativas en nuestro país, dentro de sus requisitos de

promoción, exigen conocimientos básicos de la lengua inglesa, algunas ofrecen dentro de su
pénsul académico algunos niveles de inglés y programas educativos intensivos. No obstante,
son más los estudiantes que no dan la importancia necesaria a la materia por considerarla
como un relleno, pero al no poder graduarse es cuando verdaderamente se dan cuenta del
verdadero valor de aprender un segundo idioma. Los aprendices del SENA, tienen deficiencia
en vocabulario, gramática, interpretación de textos entre otros, la cual se evidencia en los
resultados de las pruebas diagnóstico aplicadas al ingreso de su formación debido a
circunstancias como edad de inicio escolar, colegio de procedencia , condiciones socio-
demográficas, motivación, estilos y estrategias de aprendizaje entre otros las cuales son

sustentadas en diversas investigaciones que revisan diferentes factores que interfieren con el
proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje donde se destacan factores como la motivación y la actitud
frente al aprendizaje de las lenguas, la ansiedad frente a la clase de inglés y al uso de la
lengua ,los diferentes estilos de aprendizaje y estrategias usadas al aprender idiomas; uno de
estos estudios fue realizado por Diana Díaz en su proyecto de grado, donde describe las
dificultades que presentan los estudiantes en el aprendizaje de una segunda lengua como lo
son los niveles altos de ansiedad, estrategias meta cognitivas y sociales en menor medida
(Díaz, 2014) .

Activity # 4. Answer the questions

Titanic is a 1997 American catastrophe drama film directed and written by James
Cameron and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Billy Zane, Kathy Bates, Gloria
Stuart and Bill Paxton. The plot, a romantic epic, recounts the relationship of Jack
Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater, two young people who meet and fall in love aboard
the ocean liner RMS Titanic on its maiden voyage from Southampton (England) to New
York (USA) in April 1912. They belong to different social classes, They try to get ahead
despite the adversities that would separate them permanently, among them Rose's
fiancé, Caledon "Cal" Hockley (a wealthy man with whom she is not in love, but her
mother has forced her to stay with him to guarantee a future. prosperous economy) and
the sinking of the ship after hitting an iceberg.

While Jack and Rose are fictional characters, several other supporting characters such
as Margaret Brown (first-class passenger), Thomas Andrews (ship's designer), and
Edward John Smith (ship's captain) are people who actually lived through the historical
events of the sinking of the ocean liner. in 1912.5 6 7 Also authentic are the shipwreck
scenes featured in the opening scenes, for which US $ 3 million of the total production
budget was earmarked.
