Introducción

Apreciado estudiante:

En ésta guía de aprendizaje abordaremos las Temáticas CONDITIONALS TYPE 0 AND 1

(Condicionales Tipo Cero y Uno), por lo que en la guía se presenta una explicación y ejemplos en la
sección “¿Qué voy a aprender?” . Seguidamente se diseñaron unas actividades para aplicar lo aprendido
en la sección “¿Cómo voy a aprender?”, en las que se espera que usted haga su mayor esfuerzo y las
desarrolle por sí mismo y luego haga llegar el desarrollo por el medio que a usted más se le facilite.

Adicional a lo anterior la guía incluye un link para que usted si tiene los medios tecnológicos ingrese a él

Indicaciones

 Lea completamente la guía antes de comenzar a solucionarla.

 La guía que debe presentar desarrollada consta de unas actividades que usted debe solucionar de
la siguiente forma:
- Comience haciendo una PORTADA a su trabajo en donde incluya el Tema, su nombre
completo, su grado, a quién es presentado el trabajo, la institución y la fecha de entrega del
trabajo.
- Si su trabajo lo desarrolla a mano por favor escriba las respuestas de manera clara usando
lapicero y tome las fotografías de manera vertical y así mismo fíjese de que las envíe de
forma organizada.
- Si su trabajo lo desarrolla a computador, antes de enviarlo convierta el archivo a formato
PDF.
- Copie completamente tanto los enunciados como las respuestas que se dan en cada punto y
luego si desarrolle cada uno de acuerdo a lo que en cada indicación se pide realizar.
- No espere hasta el último día de recepción de trabajos para enviar su guía desarrollada, ya que
si debe hacerle correcciones no tendrá tiempo de realizarlas.

¿Qué voy a aprender?

Conditional Type Zero

Zero Conditional (Conditional Cero) se utiliza cuando el tiempo al que nos referimos es “ahora” o
“siempre” y la situación es “real “y “posible”. Este tipo de condicional suele emplearse para hablar de
hechos generales. El tiempo verbal de ambas proposiciones es el "simple present". En las oraciones
condicionales de tipo 0, el término "if" (si) puede normalmente sustituirse por "when"(cuando) sin que
cambie el significado.

1. If you heat water to 100 degrees, it boils. (Si calientas agua a 100 grados, hierve)
2. If public transport is efficient, people stop using their cars. (Si el transporte público es eficiente, la
gente deja de usar sus autos)
3. If you cross the line, you are in our country. (Si cruzas la línea, estás en nuestro país)
4. If children study, then their parents are happy. (Si los niños estudian, sus padres son felices)
5. Plants die if they don’t get enough water. (Las plantas mueren si no obtienen suficiente agua)
6. If you mix red and blue, you get purple. (Si mezclas rojo y azul, obtienes violeta)
7. If I run, I get tired. (Si corro, me canso)
8. If the match starts at time, people stop complaining. (Si el partido empieza a horario, la gente deja
de quejarse)
9. If you press that button, the light comes on. (Si presionas ese botón, la luz se enciende)
10. Pitagoras said that if you add the squares of the legs you get the square of the hypotenuse of a
triangle. (Pitagoras dijo que si sumas el cuadrado de los lados entonces obtienes el cuadrado de la
hipotenusa de un triángulo)

First Conditional-

En una oración condicional de tipo 1, el verbo que va seguido de la proposición "if" va en "simple
present", mientras que el de la cláusula principal va en "simple future".

2.If Sandra is late again I will be mad. 5.I will be mad if Sandra is late again.
3.If you don't hurry, you will miss the bus. 6.You will miss the bus if you don't hurry.

don’t want to be late for my work because my boss told me that if I am late for work again, I instantly
lose my job. It was such a stressful day at work, so now I am going to meet my friend at a park and go for
a walk. I want to wear perfume, but I can’t because if I wear perfume, I have allergic reactions to it and I
start sneezing. When I got home from work today, I realized how hot it was, so I turned on the conditioner
air to refresh me. But, if I have it on for too long, it will cost me too much.So, I only had it for an hour.
Tomorrow I am going to cut my hair, I want to dye my hair purple, but I once heard that the dying your
hair damages it. So, I often worry about it, my friends told me that if I dye my hair too much, it falls out.

A. Create a Comic Strip in English- Based on the example available and downloaded from the link

a Comic Strip in English, where you make use of Conditional Sentences Type Zero and One about
real situations from your home and school. (Look at the example taken from the given link.)

To do this, present three Panels with real and creative sentences as I ask (about real situations from
your home and school) from Type Zero Conditional and three Panels from First Conditional in
the same way.Add a final Panel where you include your name and course, and the date this comic was
created by you. You can use Apps such as pixton, storyboard, comic maker, and so on. (If you consider
pertinent you can download what you want to your cellphone from Play Store.) . If don’t want, you can
work online and download your production or share by printing and copying your Comic Strip on your
work.
