AMENDMENT TO H.R. 4373, AS REPORTED

OFFERED BY MR. WALTZ OF FLORIDA

At the end of the bill (before the short title), insert

the following:

1 PROHIBITION ON USE OF CERTAIN FUNDS RELATED TO

2 THE 2022 OLYMPIC GAMES IN CHINA

3 SEC. ll.
4 (a) No funds appropriated pursuant to any appro-
5 priations Acts or otherwise appropriated may be expended
6 to enable any United States officer or official to attend
7 the 2022 Olympic Games in the People’s Republic of
8 China.
9 (b) Nothing in this section shall be construed as pro-
10 hibiting the expenditure of Federal funds to provide secu-
11 rity during the 2022 Olympic Games to any United States
12 athlete or associated support staff.
