Dear Parents and Guardians, March 16, 2021

Attached to this letter is a copy of an infographic that has been given to your students

about “The Importance of Digital Friendships” With the uprising use of technology in the

classroom, students will be using tablets, computers, iPhones, and iPad’s to complete educational

collaborative activities. As educators and parents, we want to ensure our students are using the

technology responsibly. The importance of digital friendship will help provide some important

information on how students should present themselves in these friendships. It is up to the

students to use their technology responsibly and report anything that is not allowed. This

infographic provides some extra resources for you and your student on how to safely have digital

friendships on social media. Teachers will continue to work as a team to keep our students safe

and educated within their digital friendships!
