RECRUITMENT FOR SARVA SHIKSHA ABHIYAN AUTHORITY

State Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Authority, Punjab, applications are invited from the eligible
candidates on contractual basis in all the district of Punjab (Block wise) as per details given below.

Terms and conditions:
• All posts are offered on contractual basis initially for one year to be renewed on the basis of performance and attainments
every year.
• Only those candidates who have passed Punjabi subject in Matriculation or above are eligible to apply.
• Candidate should have domicile of Punjab or U.T Chandigarh
• Educational qualification must be from a recognized University/ Board.
• Age Limit: Between 18 and 35 years as on 1st Jan, 2010.
• Reservation will be as per applicable law & Punjab Govt. policy guidelines.
• Please clearly specify preference of District and Block for Posting. Preference of district once opted and posted will not
be changed.
• Though the preference will be given to candidates for posting within the same Block /District however, SSAA, Punjab
reserves its right to allot any station to the candidate with in the state of Punjab and the candidate will not have any
right to claim.
• Application fee – Every successful on-line registration will be allotted the Registration Number/Roll No./Admit Card printed
on the acknowledgement slip containing the detail to be deposited {Application Fee of Rs. 250/- (Rs. 125/- for SC )} in
Saving Account No. – 65076743229 in the name of State Project Director,SSA Punjab [Application Fee Account] with
any branches of STATE BANK OF PATIALA across Punjab or Chandigarh. For complete detail and information regarding

• Applicant will have to submit documents for verification at the time of counseling:
(a) Date of Birth (b) Educational Qualifications (c) Details of Marks (d) Proof of Punjabi (e) Latest residence
proof (f) Proof of Category to which the candidate belongs (as per the latest Punjab Government reservation policy)
(g) Two Passport size photographs. (h) Bank receipt in token of having received the application fee.
Instructions:
i) The candidates have to apply on-line on web-site http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in.From 14.01.2010 to 04.02.
2010 up to 5:00 p.m. and generate his/her form. Once his/her roll number is generated, he/she should get the
print of the form, paste recent photograph on it and get it attested from a notary or a Gazetted Officer. This
shall be used as ROLL NUMBER SLIP for appearing in the examination.
ii) In case the candidate fails to deposit the fee, his/her candidature shall stand automatically rejected and shall not be
considered for further processing.
iii) The recruitment will be made on the basis of merit of the written test which will be held on 21st Feb,2010 between
11:00 AM and 12:00 Noon at MOHALI,.
iv) The Examination Centres at Mohali will be put on the website.The candidates should reach the examination
centres one hour before the start of the examination i.e. 10.00 a.m.
v) At the examination centre, the candidate has to produce original copy of the Registration Slip bearing Roll Number and
one copy of the photograph pasted on that slip and attested by a notary or a Gazetted Officer. No candidate will be
allowed to appear in the examination without Roll Number Slip.
vi) The candidate need not send any application and/or any documents. The candidate has to verify himself that he/she
fulfils all the eligibility conditions for this post. Appearing in the examination and qualifying the test does not entitle
him/her for appointment to the post. The selection will be subject to his/her found eligible for the post.
vii) Verification of documents would be done at the time of counseling/recruitment. The purpose would be to verify
different records regarding identification, age, qualifying examination, state of eligibility, category etc, of the
candidate. On failing to establish of any of the documents the candidate will not be considered for recruitment and
liable for criminal action.
viii) The Question Paper will be of objective type (100 marks) having 100 questions with multiple choice on OMR
sheet with one correct answer of each question of appropriate standards. The duration of the paper will be ONE
HOUR. There will be NEGATIVE MARKING. Each right answer will carry one mark and ¼ mark will be
deducted for each wrong answer.
ix) Candidates should bring with them BLUE or BLACK Ball Pens only. Books, written notes, calculator, mobile phones
and other electronic devices etc. will not be permitted to be carried in the examination hall.
x) Candidates are advised to visit the web-site regularly.

xii) Candidate having been called for counseling will not confer any right to appointment.
xiii) Candidate will be responsible for any mistake made by him/her in his application.The selection
committee/SSA,Punjab shall not be responsible for the same.

• Any person or officer dealing with the conduct of SSA recruitment engage himself/herself in act(s) that would result in the
leakage of the question paper(s) or attempt to use or help in the use of unfair means in this recruitment process, he/she shall be
liable to prosecution under the Indian Penal Code.
