Project Halo Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility 2. Grant – Internet and 3. Facilitation 5. Force Majeure

1.1. Applications may be made by persons over the age
of 18 years only on behalf of a school. Only one
application per school will be accepted.
1.2. By submitting an application, you warrant that you
have the authority to bind the school the application
is for and have obtained all necessary permissions to
facilitate the implementation should your application
be successful and bind the school to the terms and
conditions of this agreement. You agree to indemnify
VMvault Pty Ltd trading as NetVault and its agents
and partners (“us”) against any loss they may incur as
a result of your failure to adhere to this clause.
1.3. The school can be a primary or secondary school
or one that provides both primary and secondary
education. The school must be an educational
institution providing formal education to children
pursuant to the relevant compulsory schooling
requirements of the Australian, State and Territory
governments.
Telecommunications
Package
2.1. The eligible applicant who is successful will
receive an internet and telecommunications
package for 12 months for the school and 30
members of the school and local community
selected by us in consultation with the wining
school to the value of $100,000.
2.2. Grant will include Starlink terminals, Cisco
router/s with NetVault 4G LTE failover
technology, Cisco teleconferencing hardware,
NetVault consulting and implementation
services necessary for deployment of the
package.
2.3. Grant will include 12 months high speed
internet access.
3.1. You agree that you will do all things necessary to
facilitate the installation of equipment and provision
of the services by us to ensure that the grant
package can be awarded if you are successful in your
application.
4. Marketing
4.1. You agree that if you are successful in your
application, we may conduct a marketing campaign
and you will cooperate with our marketing campaign
and allow us to film and photograph the installation
of the equipment and services, and utilisation of
the equipment and services on school property and
featuring a group of students and staff from the
school.
4.2. You agree that we may use images and videos taken
during the marketing campaign in promotional
materials, advertising and online media and that
we may supply these to news outlets and that no
payment will be made for their use.
5.1. In the event of force majeure such as an act of God for
example flood, fire, pandemic or any other intervening
circumstance that may prevent us from implementing
the grant, you agree that no loss has been suffered
and no compensation will be payable. Whilst we will
make every effort to implement the package, you
understand that this may not be possible.
6. Decisions are Final
6.1. We will choose a winner from the eligible applications
and publish the recipient school’s name and location
on our website and via email to all applicants. We will
advise that winner of their successful application via
the email address provided on their application.
6.2. All decisions are final and no correspondence will be
entered into.

1.4. The school must have a physical campus where
teaching and learning ordinarily takes place and must
be located in a regional area or have a significant
regional student population meaning that the school
or its students are located at least 50km from the
closest State or Territory capital city.
2.4. At the completion of 12 months, the prize
recipient may keep the hardware supplied and
cancel the internet and telecommunication
services or choose to enter into a contract to
facilitate the continuation of services.
4.3. You agree that we may contact you to offer our
services and promotions in the future regardless of
whether you are successful in your application or not.
4.4. You consent to receive marketing and other email
