John W. Willis, Staples, pled guilty to disorderly conduct and DWI
at a settlement conference. He was sentenced to 124 days, with 56
days stayed for two years, placed on formal supervised probation for
two years and fined $695.
Jessie R. Raille, Long Prairie, appeared for an RU8 hearing on two
counts of DWI charges. An omnibus hearing was set for March 7.
Timothy A. Wolbeck, Grey Eagle, appeared for an RU8 hearing on
three counts of negligent fire charges. A March 21 omnibus hearing
was scheduled.
Donald C. Pohlmann, Grey Eagle, made an RU8 court appearance
on three counts of hunting under the influence of alcohol. An omnibus
hearing was set for March 21.
James J. Vearrier, West Union, appeared for an RU8 hearing on
felony domestic assault charges. A March 7 omnibus hearing was
scheduled.
Joshua E. Schmidt, Motley, pled guilty to theft and receiving stolen
property at a plea hearing. A presentence investigation was ordered
and sentencing set for April 4.
Aaron J. Schwartz, Parkers Prairie, was sentenced for third degree
burglary and fifth degree controlled substance crime. Imposition of the
sentence was stayed for five years and he was placed on supervised
probation for five years, sentenced to 90 days, with 62 days jail credit,
ordered to pay $2976.77 for the burglary and an additional $500 for
the drug charges. He must also compete a chemical dependency eval-
uation.
Michael W. Stout, Clarissa, pled guilty to fourth degree burglary at
a settlement conference. He was fined $585, with restitution open for
30 days and placed on formal supervised probation for two years.
Mark A. White, Wadena, pled guilty to DWI at a settlement confer-
ence. He was fined $820, sentenced to 365 days, with 320 days stayed
for six years, and placed on formal supervised probation for six years.
Christopher A. Klemek, Bertha, was sentenced for third degree
criminal sexual conduct. He was fined $300, sentenced to 20 days, with
credit for one day served, and ordered to complete treatment, have no
contact with the victim or their family, be subject to random testing, no
