The Secret Garden

Chapter 1:

Mary spoiled ( she has servants; her servant is Kamala)

Mary (9 years old- selfish- disagreeable- bad tempered)

Mary becomes an orphan.

She pretends to have a garden.

Uncle (lives in England) Mr. Archibald Craven)

Mrs. Meadlock (housekeeper)

Chapter 2

Mary arrives to Yorkshire (England)

Martha (the servant- child- kind- friendly, she has 11 siblings)

Dickon (12 years old) he rides a horse and he likes animals.

Martha tells Mary about a secret garden

She goes and wanders through the gardens

She sees an old man, a gardener, Ben (unfriendly at first)

Mary realizes she is lonely.

Mary asks Ben to help her to enter the garden. He says NO

Martha tells Mary about Mrs. Craven death.
