BIOGRAFÍA
Nieves Blanco es Catedrática en el Departamento
de Didáctica y Organización Escolar de la Facultad de
Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad de Málaga.
Posee una larga trayectoria docente e investigadora
que la ha llevado a participar en más de 30 proyectos
de investigación, nacionales e internacionales, cuyos
resultados se han visto reflejados en un centenar de
publicaciones, entre las que se encuentran artículos
científicos, libros y capítulos de libro. La mayor parte
de su actividad investigadora la ha centrado en tres
ámbitos: el currículum, la formación del profesorado
desde la línea de los saberes docentes y la coeducación.

En la entrevista, la profesora Nieves Blanco nos

aprendiendo a lo largo de su trayectoria. Así pues, para

ella investigar es investigarse, lo que significa que la in-
vestigación es una labor de creación que implica a quien
la realiza; un posicionamiento que exige situarse en el
plano de la comprensión y no en el del descubrimiento
y la confirmación de teorías, como clave para indagar
con verdadero sentido. A esto, la autora suma otra idea
en la que explicita la posición que ocupa el investigador
o la investigadora en el proceso indagador: “Tú eres tu
primera herramienta de investigación”, lo que se tra-
duce en el hecho de que quien investiga siempre está
presente, es en la investigación. En definitiva, la autora
nos trae una visión acerca de la investigación que ad-
jetiva como “educativa”, que trata de cuidar el sentido
