Mukumuku[2] Examine the large tree to the north of
Hero's home when you first arrive in Kyaro. If you do not
recruit him here, you will have to wait and walk the road
between Two River and Greenhill to have Mukumuku
randomly join your battle party. Chances are better if
you're alone.
*Makumaku - Walk the road between Two River and
Greenhill.
* Mikumiku - Walk the road between Greenhill and Forest
Village.
*Mekumeku - Walk the road between Greenhill and the
Forest Path to Matilda.
*Mokumoku - Walk around the clearing just south of the
Forest Village (if you look at the World Map, it looks like
the bottom of a large bird's beak, that area).
Zamza[5] Bring Nanami with you and recruit him at the Inn
at Toto. If you miss him at Toto, you can recruit him at
South Window if you talk to him at the Inn and bring
Nanami with you.
Rikimaru[6] Find him lying at the entrance of Ryube, then
choose to pay for his 3,000 potch meal to Recruit. If you
miss him at Ryube, you can find him in the same situation
at Coronet, lying at the entrance of town, and again,
paying for his 3,000 potch meal.
Millie[7] Talk to her in Ryube and choose to find, then
defeat her pet Bonaparte in the Ryube Forest to recruit.
Kinnison[8] In the Ryube Forest, choose to put the baby
bird back in its nest, then fight around the forest for a bit
and come back to find him and his friend. Choose to tell
them that you are looking for recruits to recruit them.
Hanna[10] Go back into Toto after it has been destroyed
and choose to fight together to recruit.
Tuta[12] Talk to him at Dr. Huan's house in Muse after the
events at the White Deer Inn to recruit. It's the first house
to the right on the street above the Inn/Tavern. If you miss
him in Muse, he'll automatically join with Dr. Huan when
you acquire your HQ and name it.
Anita[13] Talk to her at the Tavern in Muse after meeting
with Anabelle and Jess. She'll ask you to do several things
for her. After each request, you'll have to leave Muse out
to the World Map, then come back in to talk to her to be
able to recruit her. Her requests: 1) She'll ask you for a
refill of her wine. Talk to Leona to get it filled. 2) She'll say
something about a female swordsman being so rare. [2]
But I've never seen one so beautiful. 3) She'll ask you if
you could give her some antitoxin. [2] Okay. After doing
these things for her, she'll ask you what you really want.
[1] C'mon, join our group. *If you didn't get her in Muse,
she will reappear at the Tavern at Banner Village. Either
follow the same steps above there to recruit her, or bring
Valeria with you and talk to her.
Templton [14] After receiving your mission to spy at the
Highland Camp, go to the Mercenary Fortress and talk to
him, then follow him to Toto and talk to him again to
recruit.
Gilbert[15] In the third Major Battle - Muse City (1), do 1
sword's worth of damage to him for him to defect and join
your army.
Oulan[24] Take a party of all women (plus Hero) to Kuskus
after acquiring your Headquarters. Talk to the woman you
see to your left, down the stairs near the entrance. She'll
tell you that some scoundrels who only attack girls have
been showing up lately. Leave Kuskus, then head back in
and cross the bridge on the left to have some guys start
harassing you. After they knock you out, Oulan will come
and help you out. Afterward, ask her to join to recruit.
Tai Ho and Yam Koo [# 29] Talk to Tai Ho at the docks in
Kuskus and win 5,000 potch from him in Chinchirorin to
have both Tai Ho and Yam Koo join your army.
Yoshino [# 31] Bring Freed Y with you to Radat and talk to
her at their home in the southernmost part of Radat, on
the eastern side to recruit.
Richmond[# 32] Play his coin game with him in Radat.
After you lose, talk to a man in the bar who will give you a
real coin to play Richmond with. Challenge him with the
new coin to recruit.
Amada[# 33] Beat him, one-on-one, in Radat to recruit.
Clive [# 34] Talk to him in South Window after you've
taken your boat out on the World Map at least once to
recruit. You MUST have viewed the scene in Muse
between him and Elza for him to show up in South
Window.
Alex and Hilda[# 35] Talk to Alex and Hilda on the second
floor of the Inn in South Window to recruit.
Adlai [# 37] Bring a Sacrificial Jizo, a Wooden Shield, and a
Wind Rune to South Window. Talk to Adlai in the house
north of the Armory; give him both the Sacrificial Jizo and
Wooden Shield, then choose to THROW the Wind Rune at
him to recruit.
Taki [# 38] Talk to her in Lakewest to recruit.
Hans[# 39] | Talk to him on the second floor of the New
Leaf Inn in Two River to recruit him. If you choose to ask
him for money, he will still join you, but it will take time for
him to get it together for you.
Tetsu [# 43] Buy some Fried Tacos at the Kobold District
of Two River, then head over to Lakewest. Use the Fried
Tacos on Hero so he becomes 'toasty', then talk to Tetsu at
the top-middle house in Lakewest to recruit.
Hai Yo [# 44] Talk to him on the patio area on the second
floor of your castle to recruit.
Stallion[# 45] Talk to him in Radat and challenge him to a
race. You should beat him; if you lose, you need to Run
Away / Let Go enemies several more times before you can
win and recruit.
Shilo[# 46] Talk to him at the Inn in Lakewest and win
5,000 potch from him in Chinchirorin to recruit.
Gabocha [# 47] Bring Gengen with you and talk to
Gabocha in his tent in the Kobold District of Two River to
recruit.
Sid [# 48] Bring Chaco with you and talk to Sid in the Two
River Sewers to recruit; after you go down your first
ladder, head west under the waterfall to find his secret
room.
Meg and Gadget[# 49] Talk to Meg at the Muse-Greenhill
Border and both she and Gadget will join you.
Tony[# 51] Talk to him at the village chief's house in Forest
Village to recruit.
Wakaba[# 52] Make sure Hero is at level 30 or higher and
show her how strong you are outside of the Armory in
Forest Village to recruit.
Hix and Tengaar[# 53] Talk to Hix and Tengaar in
Lakewest, then follow them to the Kobold Village, where
you will have to gather items from South Window, Cave of
the Wind, and the Two River Sewers, followed by traveling
in the Unicorn Woods in the Kobold Village to complete
their quest. Once it's over, both Hix and Tengaar will join
your party.
Emilia [# 55] After enrolling in the New Leaf Academy in
Greenhill, and after Emilia gives you her tour, talk to her
again and tell her who you really are to recruit.
Jeane[# 56] Talk to her in the Rune Shop of Two River to
recruit.
Yuzu [# 57] Choose to help her find her lost sheep in the
Kobold Village's Unicorn Woods to recruit.
Viki[# 61] You'll automatically run into her in the Path to
Matilda once you're able to pass through; invite her to
your castle to recruit.
Humphrey and Futch[# 62] Before going to join Miklotov
on his way to Muse, go to Highway Village and talk to
Humphrey; this will lead to a side quest that you will have
to undertake before both Futch and Humphrey will join
your party.
Simone[# 68] Purchase a Rose Brooch at Banner Village in
the Rare Finds, then go back to Radat's dock and choose to
give it to him in return for him joining you to recruit.
Lebrante[# 69] Bring a Celadon Urn with you and talk to
him at his Appraiser Shop in the southern part of Radat to
recruit. I recommend winning Celadon Urns in the highest
level of the Rope Climbing game above Hai Yo's kitchen.
Valeria* and Kasumi* [# 70] Joins automatically through
the storyline.*You have to choose one between Valeria
and Kasumi.
Lorelai[# 72] Talk to her in Gregminster to recruit.
Gordon[# 73] Make 50,000 potch worth of profit by way of
the Trading Post to recruit.
Mondo and Sasuke[# 74] Bring Kasumi with you to
Rokkaku. The secret path to get there is on the screen
after the ladders in the Banner Pass, and it's heading
south. With Kasumi and a level 3 castle, both Mondo and
Sasuke will join you.
Badeaux[# 76] Bring either Shiro or Mukumuku with you
to the Forest Path to Matilda and talk to him to recruit as
well as obtain Listening Crystals.
Connell[# 77] Bring any Sound Set with you to Forest
Village and talk to him in his house above the Inn to
recruit.
Feather and Ayda[# 78] After recruiting Badeaux and
obtaining a Listening Crystal, go to Forest Village and
choose to help Ayda save Feather, then use the crystal to
have both Feather and Ayda join.
Sigfried[# 80) After recruiting Badeaux and obtaining a
Listening Crystal, bring a maiden with you to Kobold
Village and head to the deepest part of the Unicorn
Woods. Head up to the tree and use a Listening Crystal to
recruit. If you do not wish to recruit Sigfried, you can
recruit another animal, Abizboah, later on in the game.
Bob[# 81) After recruiting 80 Stars of Destiny, talk to him
in the Kobold District of Two River to recruit.
Tomo[# 82) After Tsai comes to you and asks you to go
back to his house in Ryube to get his tools, bring him with
you to his house to find Tomo, where she will join you.
Max[# 83] Just walk into South Window and accept his
offer to join to recruit.
Annallee[# 84] See her scene at the Inn in South Window,
then follow her to the grassy area beside the city hall and
listen to her sing to recruit.
Killey[# 85] Talk to him outside the Trading Post in South
Window and tell him that Alex knows about the Sindar
Ruins. Go back to Headquarters and witness the scene
between the two at the Item Shop, then go back to South
Window and talk to him at the same spot to recruit.
Hoi[# 86] Go to the bar in Radat, where you'll find him
impersonating you. After that scene, he will join.
Karen[# 87] Talk to her at the Inn in Kuskus and choose to
dance with her. You'll have to hit TRIANGLE, SQUARE, O,
X, TRIANGLE, X, O, and SQUARE within the time limit to
recruit.
L.C.Chan[# 88] Bring Wakaba with you to Crom and go
toward the Inn, making L.C.Chan run out. Talk to him
behind the Item Shop afterward to recruit.
Tenkou[# 89] | Bring a Window Set with you to Crom and
talk to him in his house on the northeastern corner of
town. DO NOT ask him for money when he asks you for
your Window Set to recruit, or he will not come with
Window Set #4!
Raura[# 90] Talk to her near the guild hall / entrance to
the mine in Tinto and tell her that Jeane is at your castle to
recruit.
| [ ] Abizboah (M) [# 80) | After recruiting Badeaux and
obtaining a Listening Crystal, and after defeating
Neclord, go into the Tinto Mine and head to the sixth
screen, where you will find a watery area; approach the
water and use a Listening Crystal to recruit. You will only
be able to recruit Abizboah if you chose not to recruit
Sigfried earlier, or if you even chose to skip on Feather.
However, if you skipped on Feather and choose to recruit
Abizboah's mate, Rulodia, with your other Listening
Crystal, you won't be able to obtain all 108 Stars of
Destiny.
Georg[# 99) Talk to him at the Drakemouth-Tigermouth
Pass to recruit.
Gantetsu[#100) Talk to him near the city hall in South
Window and test your strength against him to recruit. If
you lose, you'll have to bring a stronger party and try
again.
Boris[# 41] If you choose to run away during the events in
Tinto, Ridley will die in battle, and Boris will take his
place once all of the events are over and you have
returned to your Headquarters.
Tessai[#101] Bring Viktor with you to Kuskus and talk to
Tessai to recruit.
Pico [#102] Talk to him at the Inn in Greenhill and tell him
about Annallee to recruit.
Jude[#103] Talk to him at the Blacksmith Class in
Greenhill's Academy to find that he's out of Clay. Go to the
Forest Village, then head north between the Trading Post
and house beside it, following the path to find a man that
has his own secret Clay stash. He'll give you some, so take
it back to Jude in Greenhill to recruit. | Window Set #2 -Dropped by the Air Lizard in the
Alberto[#104] Once you recruit Pico in Greenhill, go to
Tinto and talk to Alberto at the Armory, letting him know

Crystal; talk to him there to recruit.
Vincent[#106] Bring Simone with you to the dock at Radat
and talk to Vincent to recruit.
Pesmerga[#107] Make your way to the last area of the
Cave of the Wind where you fought the Star Dragon
Sword; talk to Pesmerga there to recruit.
Genshu[#108] Bring someone with a level 14 weapon to
the dock at Coronet and talk to Genshu to recruit. Either
sharpen your weapon with Tessai and the Silver Hammer,
or bring Pesmerga with you, as his weapon should be
strong enough.
