About the author:

3
From the very childhood (when I was ten or
twelve), I started writing, but it was not poetry;
my composition consisted of the short essays
both in Bengali and English for my class work. I
don’t know but somehow felt attracted towards
creative field. After a few years, I composed my
first poem in Bengali, but I could not mention it
to anybody but to my grandfather, who praised
my work and inspired me. Recently, I have
engaged myself in composing poems in English.
This book of mine (‘A Star in the Cloud’) has
already been published by I-Proclaim.com (an
imprint of Dorrance Publishing, U.K) this June
(in the last week). This book consists of thirty
poems on love and romance, and three or four
pieces have been published at e-stories.org (free
of royalty).
In fact, I am really grateful to e-stories.org for
they have first published my poems.
I strongly believe that writing comes from the
core of the heart; it expresses one’s feelings and
emotions best. Writing is the way through which
one can picturize one’s experiences- whether
bitter or pleasant. When one’s mind is heavy with
grief, feelings, and tragic events, writing may
soothe the troubled soul. Writing can best depict
the happiness of a cheerful mind.
Writing is my passion. I want to convey my
feelings to the readers through writing, which
can give accounts of an author like me best. I
want the readers know me from my literary work.

4
Hence I have not given here my bio
conventionally or typically.
It is my first book which has come into light.
If the readers accept my work, it will be the
greatest reward for me, and I will be encouraged
to compose more in future. I hope that the
readers will enjoy my work to a great extent,
rather they will feel it from the core of their
heart; they will identify themselves with the topic
and presentation of my book.
Thank you.

Synopsis of the Work

A Star in the cloud:

The world is nothing but a dust. None is capable

of seeing the real identity of this world; there is
lack of true love, affection, and faith; there is the
disbelief in faith and conscience. The whole
universe is in dilemma. The ‘scientists’ are
attempting to discover the truth, but this earth is
not willing to give the space to them.

Yes, everyone needs a particular ‘space’ to go on

the ‘vast certainty’ but unfortunately one is not
ready to do so; everyone is seeking for self
interest. But if this goes on for a long time, the
future of this vastly civilized world would be in
doubt.

Anyway, this is not to be judged today, because

this is not worthy to be mournful due to the
possibility of the supposed destruction of the
destiny of the very social, cultured, and
disciplined ‘creature’.

It is to be noted that love has its own color and

beauty. Love is the relationship which guides the
life properly. Love is the touch-stone which
proves the validity of the jewel of the heart of
man. It is the relationship which enters the inner

6
part of the heart, caring a fig for the youth and
social bondage.

Actually, man-made relationship is not so

important as the gift of God created life.

Nothing is as important as that like of man’s

heart. But one must realize the value of heart.
Heart’s joy is the best gift of the Almighty.
Love comes from the core of the heart; it is the
bridge joining the true minds; it is that mirror
which reflects one’s image. It is the relationship
where the lovable is not to be met face to face;
there is no need of give and take; the two bodies
can be related through the purity of their minds;
love attempts to make the minds contented with
its silent purity of blissful shower of God.
There is no expressive language of love except
silence. Love is devoid of self-interest; it is not
directed by the ‘creature’ but the ‘creator’. Love
is the oasis in the vicious desert of the depressed
and neglected souls who get troubled in the
hands of the ‘materialists’. The depth of love is
measured by its silence. Yes, it may be that the
world may not have measurement of the pangs of
the silent heart; the minds may never join
together or get socially engaged, but it is true
that the distance of the minds must not be
widened.
Despite being silent, love speaks thousands of
words. It inspires the life- ‘it is the star in the

7
cloud’. Even the imagination of true love gives
the mind peace and happiness.

This literary work of mine is a tribute to the true

love, which I am in search for, but do not know
whether it is attainable or not.
I have tried to depict the nature of true of in
various ways through various materials.
I hope the readers will find their reflections as
well as visualize their thoughts in my work; on its
acceptance by the readers, I will be encouraged
to compose more in future.

(1) Color of Love

The Earthly Paradise

Where one’s breathing is in
Its full swing
Without any mockery of the fevers
And frets of life; to its full
Contentment, where nobody to
Interrupt and no one to cry!

The rose smiles

On its heart’s joy,
With its innocent covering
Of peace and romance,
Making the heart spell-bound
With its sweet fragrance
And unuttered rhythm sound,
Which awakes the beloved coy,
And makes the stony hills bow
Filling them with
Sensation and thrills.

The nightingale singing

Beyond the well-versed enchanter

9
Soothes the heart
Gifted by the nature’s
Untrained and instinct ringing,
Which may stop the author
Imposed on new verse composing.

Love too has its own color;

When love approaches,
Peace, success-everything comes
One after another.
Love comes from the core of the heart
Breaking the chart
Of bondage and rules
By the human race,
Always busy in race;
In money-cart,
They become restless.
Love is friendship,
Love is sacrifice,
And God’ gift nice
Beyond the earthly price
To make the life beautiful
Caring a fig for
Every day’s nod.

(2) My Heart’s Joy

O dear, come and sit to me!

But I have nothing to give to thee.
You are my dream, my life companion;
You are the night full of stars,
And you are the sun in the dawn.

You reside in my mind;

Thanks a lot for you are so kind!
Let me find
Whether you can make me bind
To bathe in your affection
For a determined location
In the life-time
To compose a new rhyme.

You are the child full of simplicity;

You are the cloud that gives birth to
electricity.
To me you have a close affinity,
But do not shower on me your pity.

I am thirsty for your love only

That can guide me properly.

11
O dear! do not go so hastily;
Make me cheer up
With your approach lovely.

(3) So kind of You

Thanks a lot to you

That you came in my life,
And made it new.

With a silent touch you made me pure;

Thy captivating spirit made me sure
That I must be able to have a cure.
But why are you so far away?
Please come and shower a sway
Upon the dust in my heart,
And help me to shut
The window of depression,
That I can have a new relation
With the Almighty to whom
I can offer a complete devotion.

(4) My Love

12
Just wait and see, my dear!
You are so close to my heart,
But you are too detached
To let me come near.

You stealthily approached me,

When I was in a mood
Of depression and agony,
For which I could not
Realize your love and knot;
But, my darling, it was
Like a bad dream in my life
Which gave me no scope for
Making myself united to thee,
Just like the unlucky number nine,
It came again and again
To prevent me from seeing
Your approach lovely,
And smile soothing.

Believe me, I took it

For mere friendship only,
But, now I can recognize it
As my long-cherished love,
That can guide my life

13
Smart and smoothly.

Once, this world was a place

Of hypocrisy and treachery,
But while glancing at your
Gentle and innocent eyes,
Faith and affection filled in my
Depressed and exhausted heart,
Like a traveler gets pleased
By a single drop of water,
After a prolonged journey
In the desert.

But I wonder now

Why you are far from me,
And how so aloof from your every
moment’s companion
Who can not help but
Hearing from you,
Just a single “Hello!”
That keeps me quiet
And gentle towards life
Of uncertainty and love divine.

Not the momentary, but the

Ever-time tie of ours,

14
Giving direction towards
A new horizon
Of love, honor, and collaboration
Which might shower on us
The blessings of the Almighty
Full of peace and pity!

(5) From the core of the heart

A bunch of Daisy
To your smiling heart,
That is always easy
To avoid the chart
Of discipline and bondage,
And going thus beyond coverage
Of this miser earth,
Whensoever you take the birth.

(6) An Unexpressed Love

15
One day you met me, and asked my name;
I introduced myself to you and
From then started the game.

Not being conscious

I treated you casually,
But your approach lovely
Made me so capricious
That I could not help but seeing you
From the far distance
To have yours a little glance
For I was called by your appearance,
And you came in my mind,
Like the sadly-sweet rainy wind
The sometime kind, sometime unkind,
Having its bewildering existence.

(7) On a Moonlit Night

On a moonlit night you came to me,

And gave in to me with thy devoted knee.
Touching my hands you asked for my
love,

16
But I was then helpless like a dove,
And gave my consent to thy captivating
bee.

The sky was then full of stars,

And crossing the bars,
A lingering thrill came to my heart,
And filled me with the heat of a cashew
nut.

I was then undecided

And remained glided
By your shameless glances that reminded
me
Of the birds of prey
That become amorous day by day.

(8) Ode to a Helpless Lover

Please come to me,

And touch my heart
With your cruel love,
Like that of a passionate bee.

17
Come and see
Thy mad beloved
With your own eyes
Of the vicious sea.

Give to me
A passionate glance,
Like a gentle dew on the grass,
Which is a troubled soul’s key
To unlock its windows
Of depression and agony,
And to give a selfless love to thee.

O, my dear!
Please come and talk to me,
That I bind myself to thee
Like a root to a tree.

O, the king of my heart!

Please dry up the cheeks
Which are every moment flooded
By the tears free.

O, the shy boy!

Don’t cover your face please;
But let me see your eyes,
That I am standing before your knees.

18
Give up the things cowardish
And be a man
To unfold your heart
For avoiding an escapist,
That you may love me
For ever and ever,
And never say ‘good-bye’,
For I reside in you
Like a blooming Lily,
That would be not a flower
For your decision silly.

O, my heart’s joy!
Keep thy hands to mine
And my hands to thine,
To give the long-cherished love
Of flower and honey,
That I may give to thee
The hours and days sunny.

(9) What Shall I give to thee?

The innocent face of the rising sun

19
Or the fascinating blue
Of the vast sky,
What shall I give to thee,
That you may have cheer and fun?

Is it the fragrance of
The new leaves of spring,
Decorated in their own green,
Or the red rose blooming-
What would make the effect lingering?

I can not choose

Either the child’s soothing smile,
Or the silence of a flower,
What could fascinate you
And draw nearer?

Tell me, dear-

The gentleness of the moon,
Or, the romance of
The dark starry night-
What would make us united soon?

The lascivious waves of the sea,

Or the gentle touch
Of the silvery ice-
What would be the key

20
To go for the heart’s search?

I am confused,
What would be suitable-
The freshening rain, or
The heat of the summer;
The warmth of spring,
Or the dryness of winter,
What would make you twittering?

Please, help me in my confusion,

And give me a solution-
That I shall give to thee
Either the gentle bow
Of the fountain,
Or the determined
Face of the mountain!

Undecided am I
Between the shy tears
And the heart’s unfolded confession
Of love and romance
To be thy life companion.

The garden full of flowers,

Or the desert of my heart,

21
What to give to thee
To have the love-dew from you?

(10) The Angel

It is not the thundering,

But like the lightning,
That you came in my life
And made it glittering,
Having a sway upon
The darkening, bleeding heart
Of frustration and grief,
Proceeded by the unseen,
Unuttered pangs of being hurt
For innocent love,
That lost its nerve
For that ungrateful dove!

It is not the youthful hue

On my skin,
But like that of the
Gentle dew
On the grass,

22
That you came
With a freshening view
Of faith and affection,
And made me new!

In the silence
Of your dark eyes,
I got the confession of
Thousand times as bees,
For giving me honey
With hours and days sunny!

Again my heart benumbed

With the joy of
The rainbow and the
Multi-colored butterflies,
Ornamented with the vastness of the sky,
And the unnamed, unknown
Far away stars reigning,
Those remain the same
Caring a fig for
The riddles of the world
Which feel shame
On being exposed by
The innocent face.

23
Like a single drop of rain,
You quenched
The thirst of a swallow
Like me,
That was passing by the sea,
But could not drink
For the content salty.

Please, do not go
That I again feel lonely
In the thousands men’s row
Of hypocrisy and treachery.

(11) Puzzled Romance

At first slumber,
I got fixed to thee,
As the shadows numberless
Of myself to thy mirror,
With captivating spirit
Of unripe mangoes,
And the cucumber’s freshness
Took the flight,
Just right
To the corner of the temple,

24
Free from the pimples
Of this earth miser
To give the approach so late,
That is nothing,
But the irony of fate,
To which comfortable is nature
For a long time,
As if a crime
Could hide its name
In the brick’s wrapper-
Unfolded and unforeseen,
But let me be clean
That it is better
Than never
That I was stuck to thee,
And came by
The momentary wholeness
Despite the thousands of bars wavy,
Every time being envy
Of my happy lot
To be united to thee,
That only
For the sake of love,
Which you may not feel,
Though gives birth to
Silent thrills
And unpleasant journey.

25
(12) A Silly Game!

You called me
Again and again,
Like the unwanted rain
To make the moistured soil
Wet again,
Under the shallow pretension
Of friendly help,
To sprinkle the waiting drop
On the scalp
Of the sunburnt brain,
With cupid’s attack mild,
Proceeded by the childish shield.

You called me
Again and again
With some tricky excuse
To give me news
Of some portal convention,
But never gave me
The confession

26
That I always expect
To hear from you
With extreme sensation.

(13) While through the Green

Beautified with the sun’s smile,

The sky peeped into
The deep green
And the gentle flow
Of the river,
Making romance with
Lovee and me
Along with the birds twittering,
And the unknown flowers covering
The abode of nature,
Nurturing bond of ours,
Spending minutes and hours,
With heart’s silence,
And the world’s negligence
For the true minds
Dreamt of the garden free

27
From the weeds unkind,
But the pats lingering
With the dew’s falling
On the grass
And the nightingale’s singing
On the branches,
Proceeding the union
Of the sky and the earth,
Falling at the horizon,
In joy and mirth.

The green
That mars the comfort
Of the stone
Provoked me to be prone
To love-making,
A bad dream earlier
Now seizing me closer
To my darling-
My long-cherished love
That I never expected
To come in my life
Like some heavenly pleasure,
Free from every pressure
Of this earth,
And I like to have this

28
Whenever I take the birth.

(14) While on the Sea-beach

On summer’s approach lovely,

The sun has just begun
To show its face,
And I feeling lonely,
Stepped towards the beach
Of the dancing sea
In its own music beats
By anonymous lyricist,
Gifted with the instinct;
Mild breeze added to its harmony,
And the gentle sandy touch brought the
symphony,
Proceeded by some agony
Deep-delved in the heart’s corner,
Untouched, unfelt, and stony
Waiting for the rainbow colorful
To have the life cheerful
Of complete cure,
And smile pure,

29
Breaking the convention
With thrills and sensation,
Free from bleeding,
And filled up with energy inspiring
To give up monotony
For mankind’s resurrection.

(15) A Call from the Heart

For so many days

I was in sound sleep,
As if the fantasy of May
Would ‘fuse the musician
To play or not to play
The sad numbers of
The angry young man
In deep sorrow and agony
For the love frustrated,
And its ending on immaturity.

For my best,
I tried to evade

30
From the slumber,
But all went in vain,
With the ashes rest
Of the burning fuels,
Buried in my chest-
Just like the man of failure,
Every time sure
Of his unhappy lot,
Tried again and again
To uplift himself
From the drain
Of the blacky depression,
Still having its presence,
Proceeded by attempts numberless,
Knowing no recess
Of gratitude and knowledge
With several pledge
For spiritual and mercy-
Soundly conjugal;
But the stars hypocrite
With their presence lucky
Did not permit
To take the key
And unfold the windows,
Just to have the break
From the heathenic sorrows
With the freshening air innocent,

31
And the untouched fragrance
Of the smiling sun
To have the earth and sky united
And the flowers’ enchanting happiness
In the brain’s by-product
Of butters and honey-
So far from agony!

Just then, the wind came,

And the doors were opened-
But what happed!
O, it was just to my surprise
That you came
With your smiling face,
And gave me embrace
Of lights and rains-
Free from the salty contents,
Preserving me,
With thanks countless to Heavens
To my heart’s nearby!

(16) A Complaint

“Love me, love,

32
And love me”-
Is your whispering,
Always bringing
Me closer to you,
Like the gradual happening
Of the moons full and new
In every fortnight,
As if the knight’s winning
The fort blooming
With the glowing hue
Of thrills
Those kill and go across
The hearts in thousands
Of bees murmuring
The words of love,
Loosing the nerve
At the first sight
Of the loved ones,
Longing for another glance,
Happening to by-chance
In some loneliest corner
Of the unearthy encounter!

Your lips are agree,

But can not prosper
For the heart’s silence
Stands as the bar

33
That mars the romance
Between you and me,
As like, some evils go between
The river and the sea,
Remaining unthrilled and helpless
Can but see
The king of the sky
Giving consolation only;
I can not help but rely
On the hands unseen
To draw you closer to me-
Not for the happiness momentary,
But for love for good
In this universal wood
Of love and peace,
As the binding of
A root to a tree.

(17) While on the River

It was the last year,

That I was at the boat
On the river,
And you were so near,
As if the two bodies

34
Entered into one soul-
Lovelier than the horizon,
And soothing like the champion
Of the stars and planets
Those guide and roll
Round this earth miser.

The blacky residents of the sky,

Watching our game-
Free from name and fame,
Were really spell-bound,
And the bubbles always tinkling
Made no sound,
And remained in sleep sound,
As to bid us ‘Hi’!

The night queen made you known

To my skin’s hue,
And the body’s dew
For heat and sweats
Of unbeaten breaths
In harmony unsurpassed, unshown!

The stars sometimes made

A silly attempt
To peep into the Red
Amongst the various sheds

35
With touch of breeze mild,
The nature made us wild;
Love’s warmth brought us filed
In recognized melody, but unheard.

The swelling breast of the river

Made us closer,
And gave no chance
To fly from each other.

It is still a dream,
Stuck to me like cream
On the cake
Or the witty tornado
Always to shake
The leaves in green
With thrills and sensation
Of ever lasting
From the court to the wedding
In attitude serene,
And nostalgic flavor.

(18) Silent Love

36
You came to me,
And I saw you
From a near distance,
Having a glance
At your eyes
Of black significance,
As if in expression
Of something uncanny,
And known for so long a day
With the captivating ray
Of the smiling sun,
That runs
Through the forests thousands,
And lacs of sands,
Speaking millions of words,
And singing billions of rhythms
In its own music
To awake the psychic,
Once being in deep sorrow,
And waiting still for the rainbow
For composing a soothing symphony.

You touched me gently,

Like the angel’s touch featherly,
Bringing innocent feelings
Along with the lingering thrilling-

37
Covering my heart and soul,
To remove the coal
Of agony and depression
By the silent touch
Of love and inspiration
To every side of
The heart’s chamber,
Filled in by cheerful numbers,
In gentle, caring way
To have the sway
Upon the careless monotony!

(19) If you love me….

If you love me,

The earth will see
A new creation
Of divinity.

Smile will cover the sky;

The rainbow will be kingly,
For new colors would be
Added to its majesty,
And I also love thee,
If thou lovest me.

38
If you love me,
The lotus will get the key
To unfold the windows
Of pangs and agony.

If you love me,

The sea will see
A new sunrise,
Heaven kneeling before knee.

If you love me,

My heart will be free
To embrace you
With warmth of love,
And thousands charms new-
Wet in morning dew-
That once flew
From the earthly paradise
And gave rise
To the flight heavenly.

Flavor would be
Added to the rose’s fragrance,
And the little child

39
Will come out of
The magic casements-
If you love me
With green of pea, and
Spread it on all my limbs-
Like the current of
The waves on the sea.

If you love me,

I can touch the horizon,
And enlighted will be
The deep Amazon;
With its great zeal,
The cuckoo will sing
For the whole year
Free from every fear
Of the troubling bees.

If you love me,

The mountain will speak
Thousands of words
Of love and symphony;
Restless the fountain will be,
And the miser will give up
The idle reckoning-
If you love me,
The unheard bell of my heart

40
Will be jingling
In great joy,
Bidding good-bye
To the approach coy
With no mingling
Of sorrow,
But to give a bow
To my dearest darling
With mind free,
And thoughts happy.

If you love me,

The whole world will
Enter our heart’s corner,
And peace will know no number.

(20) The Evening Supper

One fine morning

Of summer,
You gave me a call
For the evening supper.

First I got fused;

Then, being excited,

41
I decided
To go to you.

During the whole long day,

I was busy in
Preparing myself
For meeting you
After so long a gap,
In nature’s lap
Of charming milieu,
With hot tray
Of icy review.

In pinkish cotton,
With milky ribbon,
I stepped to see you,
And saw myself
In your cottage beautiful,
Crowded with five pairs
Of swans in the pond
Under the pool,
Knowing no rules
Or bounds,
Only making sounds
Of love and care,
And promising to part never
From each other,

42
But to live with companion
Side by side for ever.

With soft steps

On the gentle grass,
You gave me the warm welcome
With older but newer charms.

You came to me,

As a single drop of rain
Comes to a swallow,
And quenches its thirst,
And preserves it again.

Having the seat in the lawn,

Being there none to see us alone,
We became prone
To let our pains
That had so long reigns
In our heart’s empire,
But now expired
To see us united,
And so excited
In this meeting sensitive
With nature’s tricks sportive
Of various conventions.

43
The mild breeze
Was blowing;
The evening was approaching,
And you had prepared
Our favorites vegetable chowmin
And panir-butter masala delicious,
With love’s wrapper gorgeous,
Of which certainly
The universe would be envious.

I got the whole life’s happiness

In just a single day,
And gave all the rudeness
Of the month of May;
Just remember,
The fine morning-
You gave me a call
For evening supper.

(21) A Soothing Symphony

I feel you in the air,

That goes into my body
To enliven me
For every share

44
Of earthy,
But the part divine
With oak, maple, and pine
In the flow of Tista, Bips, and Rhine
For little care of
The world’s riddle,
But in the path middle
To get me free and shine.

I feel you
In the flood of my veins,
Freshening me every moments,
Just like
The melody in the rains.

I see you
In the ups and downs
Of my eyes
With shy glittering,
And words murmuring
In shadows numberless,
Playing chess
With its excellence.

I feel you
In every rhythm
Of the music I sing,

45
And compose
In great repose
For the life charming
And smiling.

I feel you
In all the movements
Of my limbs,
Dancing in the melodious beats
For the soul’s happiness,
And going far beyond the race,
Within your heart’s casements.

(22) When You Touch Me…

When you touch me,

A sudden thrill
Shakes me, and fills
Me with joy,
Free from the attitude coy,
Bringing the worldly bound in nil!

When you touch me,

The sky changes its look,
And the breeze wishes
From every corner and nook.

46
When you touch me,
Thunder forgets its roaring;
Lightning is beyond its glittering,
And fountain is free
From flowing,
But only the earth is
In its rolling
Round the sun,
As we move round each other
With gesture and fun.

When you touch me,

The psychic gives up
All the grief,
And fills the air with music-
Unknown, unmeasured, and unheard,
But sound, gentle, and brief
With smell of flowers and leaves-
Overflowing the full-fledged spring
With all its ringing.

When you touch me,

The mountain starts to speak;
The stone wants to pick
The flowers of fragrance,
And the so long detached souls

47
Go on the zenith
With magnificence.

When you touch me,

With full force comes the sea,
Without any thought so ill,
That kills
Thousands of hope and joy-
But for the zeal
To revive love and peal
Off from the dark annoy.

When you touch me,

Just wait and see,
How I miss you,
And give love to thee!

(23) On the Riverside

I sat alone
On the riverside,
And then you came
With your manly pride,
To make me sure
That you are always with me
To give me a cure
Of the cruel agony-

48
So long being element disturbing
To tear off every event charming
Into blushful hypocrisy.

You kept your hands

On mine,
And assured me that
One day joy will shine
In my deserted life,
And wipe out all the grief
Of the remote past,
Having effect so last,
With wonder thirst
For the desired publicacy.

You said, “Joy and sorrow

Are interwoven together,
As there are the ups and
Downs of the boats in the river,
Yet they go on with smiling face,
And keep continue in the race,
With no hope for
Outcomes in back,
Which can sack
The desire for work,
As the imprisonment of the lurk
In the cage

49
Of life-long duplicacy.”

I looked at you
With the world’s wonder
That kept me surrender
To your attitude determined,
Being combined
With gentle, caring childishness
Of promising happiness
In sky-touching supremacy.

(24) A Pleasant Surprise

There was no cloud

In the sky,
And the sun was shining
With summer’s smile,
Yet the rain came in
From the unknown file,
As though of the flood of
The river Nile,
With all its lightning-
In all its caring,
For the bluish eye

50
Of the classic
But the sensation romantic
With words not spoken,
Like the treasures sunken-
In the depth of the sea,
Trying to come out free
To see
The festive mood upcoming,
Knowing no bounds of
The innocent pleasure
That needs
Neither help nor search
Of the wanderer;
Just like that,
You have had an entry
Of the thoughts carefree
From the world’s nuisance,
For the swift betterment,
With no rules to bind,
But the heavenly priest to find
The union of me with thee,
Creating the new horizon
For companionship healthy.

(25) Ode to the Moon

O, the night queen!

51
Do not cover your face with clouds
That my beloved’s face
Is no more found,
And I go round and round
Being in sorrow profound,
And strictly bound
To a pedestal-
Worldly unseen.

O, my fairy in white!
Let feel my love
In thy gentle light,
Freshening every sight
Of my eye’s flight,
To every right
For the awakened night.

O, the friend of the friendless!

Give me the space
To hide myself
In thy unfelt fragrance
Of the far away distance,
With the sweet existence
Of the black-berries
In your garden
Of silvery fence.

52
O, the mirror of love!
Do not make me
Loose my nerve
By detaching me
From your sweet curve,
Identifying love’s smile,
And giving me the pile
Of grief in my life,
Spending seconds, minutes, and hours-
Folded in poisonous flowers,
Instead, give me the
Nights and days superb
Of youthful harmony
With my lovee.

(26) The Call of Love

The doors were opened

By the north wind,
And the desert was softened
By the quick fluid
From the oasis,
For the deep analysis
Of the contents of the paper white,
Having deep condemns

53
Against the old fight,
To be or not to be
Of love’s existence
In the human significance
With mercenary excellence,
For repairing the behavior rude,
And going beyond
The self-attitude;
United into one body and
One soul-
Not far from the pole
Of love and care,
But heard no more-
Only the effect
Shakes the heart’s core,
With the brain’s disturbed thoughts
That caught the eyes
In rewinding floor.

(27) Life Partner

You are my companion

In the morning,
And compose the music
In the noon;

54
I am lost in you,
And go far beyond
The clock’s tik tik,
As the clouds float in the sky,
And go far beyond
Man’s reach,
Being the champion
Of great peace-
In rare piece,
With author’s opinion,
For the beloved shy,
Saying only “ Hi!”,
Giving none the expression
Of love’s oblivion.

You are the dew on the grass,

And the child’s smile innocent;
You are the reflection on the glass,
And you show the ‘self’ patient,
Being the rose’s part in thousands.

You are the light

In the evening,
And the stars in the night;
You are the dream charming,
And the dreamland’s knight.

55
You are the blacky sky,
And you are my new moon;
You are the guide
In my dusty path-
Please meet me soon.

You are in my veins,

And you are in my heart beats;
You are in the eyes of mine,
And the panacea in my feats.

You are my words unspoken,

And you are my love;
Remove all the grief unshaken,
And light the lamp of hope,
With the fairy game of the dove-
Unnamed and unsurpassed
By every worthy generation
Of thrills and sensation.

(28) The spring

You are so far from me,

But I always feel you
With the intensed form of dream
In the glittering hue.

56
Birds fly in the sky,
And restless becomes my mind;
Gently flows the north wind,
With reason nobody to find.

The flowers are awaken

By the bees murmuring,
And the heart is freshened
By the tune lingering.

You are in my dream,

And in the awakening;
You are the stream,
Work inspiring.

I see you
In the floating clouds,
And feel lonely
In the thousands of crowds.

I hear you through the river whispering;

You sing through the birds twittering,
Giving the effect pleasing,
And sharpening the memory
With the tune new
Of hope and glory,

57
For replacing the soul bleeding
With the garden flowery,
In ever-sparkling dew.

(29) Waiting for Your Call

I am now in utter despair,

That the failures often occur,
And make me upset
With their cruel nature-
As if, they are guest,
And I am the host
To entertain the blunders
Of meeting me always by-chance,
For standing as the flatterers,
To turn all the ‘now’ to ‘never’.

I weep and weep,

For nobody there to share,
And enter the grief’s layer
To halve the fare
Of the flowing cheek-
So common, but rare,

58
Deeply rooted with great care
That none attempts to enter here.

I am like the morning star,

Waiting for someone
To come and change its way,
Having a sway
Upon the routine life of failure
Of the monotony pure
To swallow sure
The heart’s ringing-
With sorrow jingling-
Day by day coming so near.

You are only, my dear

To call me,
And draw me near,
For making me free from fear,
And having a share
In my feelings-
With gradual nibbling
On my heart’s appearance fair.

Just give me a call floating,

And fill me with
The dream soothing
That you accompany me for ever

59
In my life’s every sphere-
With all its riddles and care,
To make me up in cheer
In love’s screen-saver!

(30) The Unheard Music

I am not so bold
Like the thundering,
Having its appearance unifold,
And the attitude challenging.

Love whispers in my ears,

And provokes me to be
Free from fears,
For letting you know
How I love you,
And miss you
From the core of my heart-
Untouched, unfelt, and unheard.

My heart too weeps for you,

For the memory friendly,
And the sadly-happy tune
With approach lovely;

60
But I can never speak
Those words of love to you,
And but loose my nerve in me,
And wait for you only
To let the soft corner
Come out of its cruel disguise.
