Commercial Airlines — Chromalloy works with all major airlines worldwide,

providing full spectrum engine support for most turbines through parts repair
and replacement, overhaul services and full engine management.

overhaul services for many turbines in use by the United States Air Force and
other military forces around the world.

Right now, over 300,000 FAA-approved Chromalloy-engineered PMA and Airfoil
Replacement parts are operating in commercial and military engines around the
world. These components are engineered to meet or exceed the performance,
reliability and durability specifications of OEM parts — while being offered at a
lower cost. We design and manufacture HPT, LPT and HPC parts for a number
of gas turbine engine types, and we provide PMA and alternative parts for high-
cost, high-scrap components on all but the newest turbines. We work with
advanced tools including vision-guided interactive laser welding and drilling to
precisely craft even the most sophisticated turbine components.
Castings
Chromalloy’s casting capabilities are unsurpassed and include single crystal CF6-80C2 1ST Stage Blade
technology. We currently operate several state-of-the-art centers for investment + PMA March 2005: 5,066 delivered to date

BELAC is a joint venture company launched and owned by Chromalloy,
Lufthansa Technik, United Airlines and Alitalia. BELAC provides airlines with
high-quality, readily available, lower-cost alternatives to OEM HPT (High
Pressure Turbine) blades. These particular components represent an airline’s
greatest opportunity for cost savings; however, they are also the most complex
to manufacture. Today, BELAC has more than 32,000 HPT blades in operation.
