II. COURSE DESCRIPTION:


Physical Education 3 introduce the Filipino Martial Arts called Arnis which aims to understand the
History and development of the game also its propagation of modern arnis. To understand the Basic
Anyo, sinawali and combative event. This course helps the student to protect their self for
unexpected situation to defend their self also not to harm someone by learning this martial art. To
develop their physical, social, emotional and mental aspect. This course student learns discipline and
combative sport.

III. COURSE OBJECTIVES:


At the end of the trimester, students are expected to:
a. understand the history and propagation of Arnis;
b. know the Basic Anyo and Sinawali;
c. develop their physical, mental, social and emotional aspect;
d. identify the different equipment and facilities;
e. execute the basic striking, blocking, and stances.
