2.- INTRODUCCION

La presente guía es un texto de aprendizaje autónomo elaborado con el fin de contribuir a la

formación de docentes en el idioma extranjero Inglés. Es la unión de las destrezas tanto
receptivas (escucha y lectura) como productivas ( habla y escritura) las cuales coadyuvan
en el desarrollo de las habilidades lingüísticas y comunicativas dentro del proceso
enseñanza aprendizaje del idioma Inglés como lengua extranjera.
La metodología aplicada en esta guía de aprendizaje es objetiva, dinámica, participativa y
simple de entender ya que utiliza mecanismos de aprendizaje autónomos basados en la
experiencia y también en un contexto real. Siendo la tecnología un medio de comunicación
e interacción entre el profesor y los estudiantes.
En esta unidad, las actividades planteadas son básicas referentes a Pre-Basic English A1.2,
donde se revisara expresiones relacionadas a los saludos, presentaciones personales,
escuchar los dialectos de hablantes nativos al saludar, aprender cuando se utiliza el presente
simple, el uso del verbo to be, como hacer oraciones tanto afirmativas como negativas ,
entre otras; Las cuales serán monitoreadas por el docente mismo que esta capacitado para
promover el desarrollo del idioma Inglés con paciencia, responsabilidad y respeto.

MOTIVACIÓN:
Queridos estudiantes, primero me gustaría iniciar con unas palabras de bienvenida a nuestra
institución, la cual es un referente a nivel nacional en ámbitos educativos, de lucha por
causas justas, nobles y mas que todo por defender el derecho a la educación laica y gratuita.
En este lugar del saber muchos profesionales nos hemos preparado para ser aquellos
elementos que la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi ha forjado y con mucho orgullo ahora
somos parte de su cuerpo docente. Así como ustedes inician sus actividades educativas en
el nivel superior, llenos de sueños, de anhelos y listos para crecer no solo profesionalmente
sino también en el ámbito personal, seguro estoy que aquí ustedes lograran sus objetivos y
alcanzaran ese titulo de tercer nivel con el mismo entusiasmo con el que inician este nuevo
semestre el cual será lleno de nuevas experiencias y emociones.

Estudiar un idioma extranjero como segunda lengua es de vital importancia debido a los
beneficios que este brinda, como comunicarse, viajar, estudiar, hacer negocios o tan solo
escuchar música y entenderla en aquel idioma. En la actualidad vivimos en un mundo
globalizado, competitivo donde las exigencias laborales cada vez son mas grandes y la
Carrera de Pedagogía de los Idiomas Nacionales y Extranjeros les brinda esta oportunidad
de convertirse en profesores del idioma Ingles.
Como todos ya conocen el mundo esta atravesando por un momento muy difícil el cual nos
obliga a quedarnos en casa, preparándonos para la vida , valorando el tiempo, valorando a
la familia, aprendiendo y desarrollando nuevas cosas. Hoy tenemos la oportunidad de
aprender Inglés desde la comodidad de nuestro hogar, con actividades autónomas y
practicas las cuales desarrollaran habilidades lingüísticas dentro del idioma Inglés. He
desarrollado esta guía para un aprendizaje paulatino del idioma, donde encontraran los
temas que revisaremos semanalmente, con instrucciones claras y precisas. Cada una de las
actividades están basadas en comprensión lectora, oral, escrita y auditiva. De igual forma
en el silabo encontraran las fechas de entrega de tareas, pruebas y exámenes. Cualquier
duda o sugerencia que tengan lo podrán hacer en las horas de tutorías y con mucho gusto
les podre ayudar.
