Dear Guardians,
Attached is an infographic the students received about how to protect their information online
as part of their Digital Citizenship. As you may know, we are introducing a BYOD (bring your own device)
policy this year. As a class, we have discussed the difference between personal and private information,
how to tell the difference, and when to disclose this information online. Please go over the information
presented in this graphic with your student, and feel free to reach out to me with any questions or
concerns you may have. I have included on the infographic a YouTube video for you to watch with your
student, as well as an article and podcast meant for guardians. Have a great weekend and thank you for
enforcing great digital citizenship in your student!

Se adjunta una infografía que los estudiantes recibieron sobre cómo proteger su información en línea
como parte de su ciudadanía digital. Como ya sabrá, este año presentamos una política BYOD (traiga su
propio dispositivo). Como clase, hemos discutido la diferencia entre información personal y privada,
cómo notar la diferencia y cuándo divulgar esta información en línea. Por favor, repase la información
