Isaiah 6:1-8 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the
temple.2Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and
with twain he did fly. 3And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his
glory. 4And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. 5Then said I, Woe is me! for
I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King,
the LORD of hosts.6Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off
the altar:7And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin
purged.8Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

kingdom of God.
John 3:11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth

Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with
you, and shall be in you.

the knowledge of the truth.

there was no judgment.
1 Timothy 6:13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate
witnessed a good confession;
2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to
themselves teachers, having itching ears;4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in
unrighteousness;
Acts 20:30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
Romans 2:8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed
for ever. Amen.
1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and
the spirit of error.

Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and
eschewed evil. 2And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. 3His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three
thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the
greatest of all the men of the east. 4And his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three
sisters to eat and to drink with them. 5And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them,
and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons
have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually. 6Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present
themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

7
And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth,
and from walking up and down in it. 8And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him
in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? 9Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth
Job fear God for nought? 10Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou
hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. 11But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath,
and he will curse thee to thy face.

12
And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went
forth from the presence of the LORD. 13And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their
eldest brother's house:

14
And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them: 15And the Sabeans fell
upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell
thee. 16While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the
sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 17While he was yet speaking, there came also
another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the
servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 18While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and
said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house:
19
And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men,
and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 20Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down
upon the ground, and worshipped, 21And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave,
and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.22In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.
Lesson 2 - Philosophy & Ethics: Says Who?

2 Tim 2:24-26 Col 2:8 Rom 12:2 Mark 9:2

2Cor 3:18

2 Timothy 2:24-26 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25In meekness
instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26And that
they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the
world, and not after Christ.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that
good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Mark 9:2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by
themselves: and he was transfigured before them.
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory
to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Lesson 3 – Anthropology: Who is Man? Gal 5: 16-17 Gen 1:27 Rom 5:12 Gen 6:5
Rev 20:15 Heb 9:27 Rev 5:9 Rom 7:14-20 Rom 6:12 Rom 8:5-14 1 Cor 15:42 Rom 8:13 Col 3:5-10 Rom 7:24-25

Galatians 5:16-17 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit,
and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have
sinned:
Genesis 6:5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was
only evil continually.
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Revelation 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain,
and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Romans 7:14-20 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15For that which I do I allow not: for what I
would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17Now then it is
no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

18
For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is
good I find not.19For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20Now if I do that I would not, it is no more
I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

Romans 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Romans 8:5-14 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the
Spirit.6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:
for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.9But ye are not in the
flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10And
if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your
mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13For if ye
live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14For as many as are led by the
Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

1 Corinthians 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Colossians 3:5-10 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil
concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of
disobedience: 7In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.8But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice,
blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his
deeds;10And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
Romans 7:24-25 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25I thank God through Jesus Christ our
Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Lesson 4 - Theology: Who is God? Col 2:3 John 3:16 Luke 18:18 John 4:13-14 John 5:24 John 5:39-40 John 6:27 John 6:54

everlasting life.

John 4:13-14 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:14But whosoever drinketh of the
water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into
everlasting life.
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not
come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

come to me, that ye might have life.

give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
John 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 17:1-3 1These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy
Son also may glorify thee: 2As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given
him.3And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Philippians 3:8-10 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for
whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9And be found in him, not having mine
own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:10That I
may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
Hosea 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let
not the rich man glory in his riches:24But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD
which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.
Deuteronomy 4:23-24 Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and
make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.24For the LORD thy God is a
consuming fire, even a jealous God.
Zechariah 8:2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.
Exodus 34:10-17 And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the
earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do
with thee.11Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the
Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.12Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the
land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee: 13But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down
their groves:14For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: 15Lest thou make a covenant
with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat
of his sacrifice; 16And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons
go a whoring after their gods.17Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.
Genesis 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men,
and hast prevailed.
Genesis 17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I
made thee.
Luke 1:13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and
thou shalt call his name John.
Psalm 42:1-2 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
2My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every
thought to the obedience of Christ;
1 Peter 1:24-25 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof
falleth away:25But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
Ezekiel 22:26-28 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy
and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I
am profaned among them.
27Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.
28And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord
GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.

reigned twelve years.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder
of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Lesson 5 - Science: What is True?

Psa 19:1-4 Jer 33:22 Rom 1:18-20 Rom 1: 21-23

Rom 1:25 Psa 53:1

Psalm 19:1-4 1The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2Day unto day uttereth speech, and
night unto night sheweth knowledge.3There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.4Their line is gone out through all
the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
Jeremiah 33:22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David
my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.
Romans 1:18-20 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth
in unrighteousness;19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20For the invisible
things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and
Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Romans 1:21-23 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their
imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23And changed the glory of the
uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed
for ever. Amen.
Psalm 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that
doeth good.

I will do all my pleasure: 11Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have
spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.
Matthew 28:11-15 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the
things that were done.12And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the
soldiers,13Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. 14And if this come to the governor's ears, we
will persuade him, and secure you.15So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among
the Jews until this day.
1 Corinthians 15:14-19 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.15Yea, and we are found false
witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16For
if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:17And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18Then they also
which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
Joshua 4:1-7 And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan, that the LORD spake unto Joshua, saying, 2Take
you twelve men out of the people, out of every tribe a man, 3And command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan,
out of the place where the priests' feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging
place, where ye shall lodge this night.4Then Joshua called the twelve men, whom he had prepared of the children of Israel, out of every
tribe a man:5And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the LORD your God into the midst of Jordan, and take you up every
man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the children of Israel: 6That this may be a sign among
you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones? 7Then ye shall answer them, That
the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut
off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.
Jude 1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus
Christ, and called:2Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied. 3Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the
common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once
delivered unto the saints.4For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly
men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. 5I will therefore put
you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward
destroyed them that believed not.6And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in
everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like
manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of
eternal fire. 8Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

9
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing
accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.10But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as
brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. 11Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the
error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. 12These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you,
feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice
dead, plucked up by the roots;13Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the
blackness of darkness for ever. 14And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with
ten thousands of his saints, 15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds
which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. 16These are
murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in
admiration because of advantage.17But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus
Christ;18How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they
who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.20But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the
Holy Ghost,

21
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22And of some have compassion,
making a difference:23And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. 24Now unto
him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25To the only
wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
Numbers 15:38-39 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments
throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:39And it shall be unto you for a fringe,
that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them ; and that ye seek not after your own heart
and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:

be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.26And it shall come to
pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service? 27That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD's
passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And
the people bowed the head and worshipped.

Deuteronomy 4:9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and
lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;
Deuteronomy 6:4-12 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:5And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.6And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

7
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest
by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.8And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be
as frontlets between thine eyes.9And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates. 10And it shall be, when the
LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee
great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not, 11And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which
thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full; 12Then beware lest thou
forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

1 Corinthians 13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a
tinkling cymbal. 2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith,
so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I
give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5Doth not behave itself unseemly,
seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;7Beareth all things,
believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether
there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.9For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10But
when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood
as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.12For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then
face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but
the greatest of these is charity.

Deuteronomy 8:10-20 When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath
given thee.11Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes,
which I command thee this day:12Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; 13And when thy
herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied; 14Then thine heart be lifted
up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; 15Who led thee
through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who
brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint; 16Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might
humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end; 17And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of
mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.18But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth,
that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. 19And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD
thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.20As the
nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD
your God.
Hosea 13:6 According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten
me.

Psalm 33:10-11 The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. 11The

Acts 4:27-28 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and
the people of Israel, were gathered together, 28For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
1 Kings 22:28-34 And Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace, the LORD hath not spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, O people,
every one of you.29So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead. 30And the king of Israel said unto
Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and enter into the battle; but put thou on thy robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself, and
went into the battle.31But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and two captains that had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither
with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel. 32And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that
they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out. 33And it came to pass,
when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, that they turned back from pursuing him. 34And a certain
man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his
chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.

Proverbs 16:9-10 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.10A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his

Acts 17:24-26 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made
with hands;25Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all
things;26And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before
appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
2 Kings 6:8-18 Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall
be my camp. 9And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians
are come down.10And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there,
not once nor twice. 11Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto
them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel?12And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the
prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.13And he said, Go and spy where he is,
that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan. 14Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots,
and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about. 15And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and
gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall
we do?16And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.17And Elisha prayed, and said,
LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the
mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. 18And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD,
and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
Ephesians 5:22-33 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23For the husband is the head of the wife, even
as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be
to their own husbands in every thing. 25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;26That
he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not
having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28So ought men to love their wives as their
own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as
the Lord the church: 30For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31For this cause shall a man leave his father and
mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the
church. 33Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her
husband.
Titus 1:5-6 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city,
as I had appointed thee:6If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.

Genesis 1:26-28 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea,
and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.27So
God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28And God blessed them, and
God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and
over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Genesis 2:18-24 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.19And out
of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he
would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. 20And Adam gave names to all cattle,
and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. 21And the LORD God
caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;22And the rib,
which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23And Adam said, This is now bone of my
bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.24Therefore shall a man leave his father and
his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Matthew 19:4-8 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male
and female,5And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one
flesh?6Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. 7They say
unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? 8He saith unto them, Moses because of
the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
Malachi 2:13-17 And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch
that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand. 14Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD
hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the
wife of thy covenant. 15And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly
seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. 16For the LORD, the God of Israel,
saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your
spirit, that ye deal not treacherously. 17Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When
ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?
1 Peter 3:1-7 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the
word be won by the conversation of the wives;2While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.3Whose adorning let it not
be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4But let it be the hidden man of the
heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 5For after
this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own
husbands:6Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any
amazement.7Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel,
and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
Colossians 3:18-21 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. 19Husbands, love your wives, and be not
bitter against them.20Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. 21Fathers, provoke not your
children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

Ephesians 6:1-3 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2Honour thy father and mother; which is the first
commandment with promise;3That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
Ephesians 6:1-3 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2Honour thy father and mother; which is the first
commandment with promise;3That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
Deuteronomy 6:6-7 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7And thou shalt teach them diligently unto
thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and
when thou risest up.

John 14:16-20 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the
Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with
you, and shall be in you.18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.19Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but
ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.20At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
Ephesians 5:31-32 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one
flesh.32This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Titus 1:5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city,
as I had appointed thee:
Ephesians 4:11-13 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the
perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13Till we all come in the unity of the faith,
and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight
of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
1 Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church
of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ
in you, the hope of glory:
John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye
can do nothing.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become
new.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh
I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17If any man defile the
temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye
are not your own?
1 Corinthians 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
Romans 12:4-5 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5So we, being many, are one
body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
1 Corinthians 10:17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
Romans 16:25-26 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to
the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, 26But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the
prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
Ephesians 1:9-10 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in
himself:10That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven,
and which are on earth; even in him:
Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
Galatians 3:28-29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in
Christ Jesus.29And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Ephesians 2:19-22 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of
God;20And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21In whom all
the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of
God through the Spirit.
John 17:20-23 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21That they all may be
one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.22And the
glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23I in them, and thou in me, that they may be
made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Ephesians 4:3-5 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are
called in one hope of your calling;5One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye
love one another with a pure heart fervently:
Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a
righteous man availeth much.
Ephesians 4:21If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
Ephesians 4:32And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Romans 14:19Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
Romans 12:10Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in
your own conceits.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
Ephesians 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one
another.

Romans 15:5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35By
this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Deuteronomy 22:11-13 Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together. 12Thou shalt make thee fringes
upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.13If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,
Matthew 6:1-18 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which
is in heaven.2Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in
the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3But when thou doest alms, let not thy left
hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee
openly. 5And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the
corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6But thou, when thou prayest, enter
into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward
thee openly.7But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much
speaking.8Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 9After this
manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it
is in heaven.11Give us this day our daily bread.12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14For if ye forgive men their trespasses,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your
trespasses.16Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear
unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 17But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy
face;18That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward
thee openly.
Isaiah 55:1-2 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy
wine and milk without money and without price.2Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that
which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed.
Psalm 42:1-2 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.2My soul thirsteth for God, for the living
God: when shall I come and appear before God?

1 Kings 21:1-9 And it came to pass after these things, that Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard, which was in Jezreel, hard by the
palace of Ahab king of Samaria.2And Ahab spake unto Naboth, saying, Give me thy vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs,
because it is near unto my house: and I will give thee for it a better vineyard than it; or, if it seem good to thee, I will give thee the worth
of it in money.3And Naboth said to Ahab, The LORD forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee. 4And Ahab
came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not
give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread. 5But
Jezebel his wife came to him, and said unto him, Why is thy spirit so sad, that thou eatest no bread? 6And he said unto her, Because I
spake unto Naboth the Jezreelite, and said unto him, Give me thy vineyard for money; or else, if it please thee, I will give thee another
vineyard for it: and he answered, I will not give thee my vineyard. 7And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the
kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite. 8So she wrote
letters in Ahab's name, and sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters unto the elders and to the nobles that were in his city, dwelling
with Naboth.9And she wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people:
Daniel 4:29-36 At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. 30The king spake, and said, Is not this
great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? 31While the
word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is
departed from thee.32And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to
eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to
whomsoever he will.33The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as
oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws. 34And
at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the
most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from
generation to generation:35And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of
heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? 36At the same time my
reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my
lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.
Proverbs 16:9-10 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps. 10A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his
mouth transgresseth not in judgment.
Proverbs 21:1The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
Daniel 2:21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and
knowledge to them that know understanding:
Romans 9:17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in
thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
1 Samuel 8:1-18 And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel. 2Now the name of his firstborn
was Joel; and the name of his second, Abiah: they were judges in Beersheba. 3And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside
after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment. 4Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel
unto Ramah, 5And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the
nations.6But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. 7And the
LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they
have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. 8According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them
up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee. 9Now therefore
hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over
them. 10And Samuel told all the words of the LORD unto the people that asked of him a king.11And he said, This will be the manner of
the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and
some shall run before his chariots. 12And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear
his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. 13And he will take your
daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers.14And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your
oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. 15And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and
give to his officers, and to his servants.16And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and
your asses, and put them to his work.17He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants. 18And ye shall cry out in that
day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day.
2 Chronicles 26:1-23 Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father
Amaziah.2He built Eloth, and restored it to Judah, after that the king slept with his fathers. 3Sixteen years old was Uzziah when he began
to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jecoliah of Jerusalem. 4And he did that which was
right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did. 5And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had
understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper. 6And he went forth and warred
against the Philistines, and brake down the wall of Gath, and the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod, and built cities about Ashdod,
and among the Philistines.7And God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gurbaal, and the
Mehunims.8And the Ammonites gave gifts to Uzziah: and his name spread abroad even to the entering in of Egypt; for he strengthened
himself exceedingly.9Moreover Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning of the wall,
and fortified them. 10Also he built towers in the desert, and digged many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in
the plains: husbandmen also, and vine dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry. 11Moreover Uzziah had an host
of fighting men, that went out to war by bands, according to the number of their account by the hand of Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah
the ruler, under the hand of Hananiah, one of the king's captains.

12
The whole number of the chief of the fathers of the mighty men of valour were two thousand and six hundred. 13And under their hand
was an army, three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred, that made war with mighty power, to help the king against
the enemy.14And Uzziah prepared for them throughout all the host shields, and spears, and helmets, and habergeons, and bows, and
slings to cast stones.15And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot
arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong. 16But when he was
strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD
to burn incense upon the altar of incense.17And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of the LORD, that
were valiant men:18And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto
the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed;
neither shall it be for thine honour from the LORD God. 19Then Uzziah was wroth, and had a censer in his hand to burn incense: and
while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, from beside
the incense altar.20And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and
they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him. 21And Uzziah the king was a
leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD: and Jotham
his son was over the king's house, judging the people of the land. 22Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, did Isaiah the
prophet, the son of Amoz, write.23So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burial which
belonged to the kings; for they said, He is a leper: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.

Romans 13:1-6 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of
God.2Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves
damnation.3For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good,
and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he
beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5Wherefore ye must
needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers,
attending continually upon this very thing.
John 17:1-2 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son
also may glorify thee:2As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
1 Corinthians 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have
put down all rule and all authority and power.
1 Corinthians 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is
excepted, which did put all things under him.
1 Corinthians 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all
things under him, that God may be all in all.
Titus 2 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:2That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in
charity, in patience.3The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much
wine, teachers of good things;4That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5To be
discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. 6Young men likewise
exhort to be sober minded. 7In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity,
sincerity,8Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of
you.9Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; 10Not purloining,
but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. 11For the grace of God that bringeth
salvation hath appeared to all men,12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and
godly, in this present world;13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus
Christ;14Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good
works.15These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Psalm 22:28 For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.
2 Chronicles 20:6 And said, O LORD God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the
heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?
Job 12:23 He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.
Isaiah 14:26-27 This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the
nations.27For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?
Luke 20:25 And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be
God's.
Acts 17:24-26 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made
with hands;25Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all
things; 26And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before
appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
Isaiah 14:24-25 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so
shall it stand:25That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from
off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.
Proverbs 16:9-10 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.10A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his
mouth transgresseth not in judgment.
Deuteronomy 17:16-20 But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should
multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way. 17Neither shall he multiply
wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold. 18And it shall be, when he
sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the
Levites: 19And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep
all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:20That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside
from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in
the midst of Israel.
Exodus 22:28 Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.
Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of
God.
Titus 3:1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
1 Peter 2:13-17 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 14Or unto
governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. 15For so is the will
of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 16As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of
maliciousness, but as the servants of God.17Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
1 Samuel 8:9 Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king
that shall reign over them.
1 Samuel 8:19-20 Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over
us; 20That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.
Exodus 32:1 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together
unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the
land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
Acts 7:40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot
not what is become of him.
Isaiah 52:12 For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your
reward.

give them light; to go by day and night:

bars of iron:

Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee
quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Romans 13:1-6 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of
God.2Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves
damnation.

3
For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou
shalt have praise of the same:

4
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is
the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.5Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but
also for conscience sake.

6
For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

Hosea 13:6 According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten
me.
Deuteronomy 8:10-20 When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath
given thee.11Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes,
which I command thee this day: 12Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; 13And when
thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied; 14Then thine heart be
lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;

15
Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no
water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;

16
Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to
do thee good at thy latter end;

17
And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.

18
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant
which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

19
And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify
against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

20
As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of
the LORD your God.

commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy
life;18Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat

Matthew 25:14-30 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto
them his goods.15And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability;
and straightway took his journey. 16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five
talents.17And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth,
and hid his lord's money.19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. 20And so he that had received
five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them
five talents more.21His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will
make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 22He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou
deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. 23His lord said unto him, Well done, good and
faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy
lord.24Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast
not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:25And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that
is thine.26His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and
gather where I have not strawed:27Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should
have received mine own with usury.28Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.29For unto every
one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.30And
cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Psalm 50:7-12 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God. 8I will not reprove
thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me. 9I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats
out of thy folds.10For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. 11I know all the fowls of the mountains: and
the wild beasts of the field are mine. 12If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have

Genesis 1:26-30 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea,
and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27So
God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28And God blessed them, and
God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and
over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb
bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for
meat.30And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life,
I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
1 Chronicles 29:10-14 Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God
of Israel our father, for ever and ever.11Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty:
for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.12Both riches
and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to
give strength unto all.13Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name. 14But who am I, and what is my people,
that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
Leviticus 19:9-10 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou
gather the gleanings of thy harvest.10And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou
shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.
Exodus 23:11 But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts
of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.

how dwelleth the love of God in him?
Ephesians 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may
have to give to him that needeth.
2 Corinthians 8:13-15 For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened: 14But by an equality, that now at this time your
abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality: 15As it is
written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.
Deuteronomy 8:17-18 And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. 18But thou shalt
remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto
thy fathers, as it is this day.
Deuteronomy 24:15 At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart
upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.
Luke 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much
is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
Ephesians 6:9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven;
neither is there respect of persons with him.
Colossians 4:1 Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
James 5:4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries
of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.
Ephesians 6:5-8 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of
your heart, as unto Christ;6Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;7With
good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: 8Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive
of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
Colossians 3:22-25 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in
singleness of heart, fearing God;23And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;24Knowing that of the Lord ye
shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. 25But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he
hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
1 Timothy 6:1-2 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his
doctrine be not blasphemed.2And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do
them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
Titus 2:9-10 Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; 10Not
purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
1 Peter 2:18-22 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. 19For this is
thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 20For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for
your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.21For even
hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22Who did no sin,
neither was guile found in his mouth:
Ephesians 6:5-9 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of
your heart, as unto Christ;6Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;7With
good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: 8Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive
of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. 9And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your
Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
Proverbs 6:6-11 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: 7Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler 8Provideth her
meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. 9How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy
sleep? 10Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: 11So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy
want as an armed man.
2 Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
Matthew 6 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in
heaven.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets,
that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know
what thy right hand doeth: 4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of
the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy
closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee
openly.

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not
ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Amen. 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their
trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men
to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; 18 That thou
appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But
lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor
steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy
whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the
other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall
put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap,
nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can
add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not,
neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if
God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of
little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be
clothed?32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these
things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil
thereof.

Matthew 20-24 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire
labourers into his vineyard. 2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he
went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and
whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did
likewise. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day
idle? 7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that
shall ye receive.
8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from
the last unto the first.9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. 10 But when the
first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. 11 And when they had
received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house, 12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made
them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. 13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no
wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? 14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. 15 Is
it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? 16 So the last shall be first, and the first last:
for many be called, but few chosen.

17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them, 18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem;
and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, 19 And shall
deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. 21 And he
said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the
left, in thy kingdom. 22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and
to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. 23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink
indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to
give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren. 25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said,
Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26 But it
shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among
you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for
many.

29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him. 30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when
they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. 31 And the multitude rebuked them,
because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. 32 And Jesus stood
still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you? 33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened. 34 So
Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

Matthew 21 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two
disciples, 2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose
them, and bring them unto me. 3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will
send them. 4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, 7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they
set him thereon.8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed
them in the way.

9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the
name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? 11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the
prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the
moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of
prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them. 15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the
wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore
displeased, 16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth
of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? 17 And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.

18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered. 19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found
nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered
away.

20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! 21 Jesus answered and said unto
them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say
unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. 22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in
prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By
what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority? 24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you
one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things. 25 The baptism of John, whence was it?
from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not
then believe him? 26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. 27 And they answered Jesus, and
said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. 29 He
answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. 30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered
and said, I go, sir: and went not. 31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto
them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. 32 For John came unto you in
the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented
not afterward, that ye might believe him.

33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress
in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: 34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent
his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. 35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and
killed another, and stoned another. 36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. 37 But last of
all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. 38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among
themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. 39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the
vineyard, and slew him. 40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? 41 They say unto
him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the
fruits in their seasons.

42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the
corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits
thereof. 44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them. 46 But when they sought to
lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

Matthew 22 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, 2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king,
which made a marriage for his son, 3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not
come. 4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my
fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. 5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm,
another to his merchandise: 6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. 7 But when the king
heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then saith he to his
servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. 9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye
shall find, bid to the marriage. 10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both
bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: 12 And he saith unto him,
Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind
him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14 For many are
called, but few are chosen.

15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk. 16 And they sent out unto him their disciples
with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for
thou regardest not the person of men.17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? 18 But
Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? 19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto
him a penny. 20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto
them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's. 22 When they had heard these
words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.

23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him, 24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a
man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. 25 Now there were with us seven
brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother: 26 Likewise the
second also, and the third, unto the seventh. 27 And last of all the woman died also. 28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall
she be of the seven? for they all had her.

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they
neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. 31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye
not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, 32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. 33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.

34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. 35 Then one of them, which
was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said
unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great
commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the
law and the prophets.

41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto
him, The son of David. 43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,

44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? 46 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day
forth ask him any more questions.

Matthew 23 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, 2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: 3 All
therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. 4 For they bind
heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their
fingers. 5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their
garments, 6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7 And greetings in the markets, and to be
called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. 8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.9 And call no man
your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even
Christ.11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that
shall humble himself shall be exalted.

13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in
yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. 14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows'
houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make
him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold
of the temple, he is a debtor! 17 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold? 18 And,
Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty. 19 Ye fools and blind:
for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift? 20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all
things thereon. 21 And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein. 22 And he that shall swear by
heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.

23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier
matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 24 Ye blind guides,
which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full
of extortion and excess. 26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be
clean also.

27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but
are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. 28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are
full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the
righteous, 30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the
prophets. 31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. 32 Fill ye up then
the measure of your fathers. 33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of
them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: 35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood
shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple
and the altar. 36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered
thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 38 Behold, your house is left unto you
desolate. 39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Matthew 24 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the
temple. 2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon
another, that shall not be thrown down.

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what
shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ;
and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to
pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and
pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then
shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall
deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the
same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall
the end come.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth,
let him understand:)16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down
to take any thing out of his house:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are
with child, and to them that give suck in those days!20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath
day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And
except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if
any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall
shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you
before.26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it
not. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28 For
wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall
from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then
shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great
glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from
one end of heaven to the other.

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So
likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not
pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall
also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and
giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall
also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall
be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in
what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye
also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due
season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him
ruler over all his goods. 48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49 And shall begin to smite
his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him,
and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Proverbs 28:27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.
Exodus 23:11 But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts
of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
Proverbs 29:7 The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.
Psalm 101:3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
1 Chronicles 25:1-8 Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of
Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service
was:2Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which
prophesied according to the order of the king.
3
Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father
Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD. 4Of Heman: the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah,
Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and
Mahazioth:5All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen
sons and three daughters. 6All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries,
and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.

7
So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the LORD, even all that were cunning, was two hundred
fourscore and eight.8And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.

Matthew 19:16-17 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal
life?17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the
commandments.
Matthew 22:33-40 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.34But when the Pharisees had heard that he
had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. 35Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting

Luke 10:25-29 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26He
said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? 27And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. 28And he said unto him, Thou
hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.29But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
Luke 10:29-37 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour? 30And Jesus answering said, A certain man
went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed,
leaving him half dead. 31And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other
side.32And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. 33But a certain
Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, 34And went to him, and bound up his
wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35And on the morrow
when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest
more, when I come again, I will repay thee.36Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the
thieves?37And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
1 Samuel 2:1-10 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is
enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation. 2There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is
there any rock like our God.3Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of
knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.4The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with
strength. 5They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven;
and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.6The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.

7
The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. 8He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the
beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the
LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.9He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by
strength shall no man prevail.10The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the
LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

Galatians 5:13-14 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one

Romans 13:8-10 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9For this, Thou shalt
not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any
other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10Love worketh no ill
to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
James 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
Matthew 25:33-36 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34Then shall the King say unto them on his
right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35For I was an
hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36Naked, and ye clothed me: I
was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy
mind. 38This is the first and great commandment.39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.40On these
two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Proverbs 14:21 He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.
Matthew 5:43-44 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44But I say unto you, Love
your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute
you;
Proverbs 28:27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.

unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
1 John 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him,
how dwelleth the love of God in him?
Deuteronomy 24:14Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers
that are in thy land within thy gates:
Job 5:15 But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.
John 17:6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me;
and they have kept thy word.
Amos 4:13 For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the
morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.
Isaiah 65:1-2 I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a
nation that was not called by my name.2I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that
was not good, after their own thoughts;
Matthew 23:37-38 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I
have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 38Behold, your house is left
unto you desolate.
Matthew 11:28-29 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn
of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory
to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Luke 1:51-52 He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. 52He hath put down
the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
Colossians 3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ
is all, and in all.
1 Peter 5:5-6 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with
humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. 6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that
he may exalt you in due time:
2 Corinthians 10:1 Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but
being absent am bold toward you:
John 13 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the
Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. 2And supper being ended, the devil having now put
into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;

3
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God; 4He riseth from
supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.5After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash
the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. 6Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him,
Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
7
Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. 8Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt
never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. 9Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet
only, but also my hands and my head.

10
Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all. 11For he
knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.12So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and
was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?

13
Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. 14If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to
wash one another's feet. 15For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. 16Verily, verily, I say unto you, The
servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. 17If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do
them.18I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath
lifted up his heel against me.19Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he. 20Verily, verily, I
say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. 21When Jesus had
thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. 22Then the
disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake. 23Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus
loved.

24
Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake. 25He then lying on Jesus' breast saith
unto him, Lord, who is it?26Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop,
he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.27And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do
quickly.28Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him. 29For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag,
that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.30He
then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night. 31Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of
man glorified, and God is glorified in him.32If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway
glorify him.33Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot
come; so now I say to you. 34A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one
another.35By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. 36Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither
goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards. 37Peter said unto him,
Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake. 38Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my
sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.

John 14:4-9 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.5Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how
can we know the way?6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7If ye had
known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8Philip saith unto him, Lord,
show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me,
Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Colossians 4:5-6 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned
with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Jonah 4:9-11 And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto
death.10Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came
up in a night, and perished in a night:11And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons
that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?
Hebrews 11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2For by it the elders obtained a good
report.3Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of
things which do appear.

4
By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God
testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not
found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6But without faith it is
impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek
him. 7By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the
which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. 8By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out
into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9By faith he
sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same
promise:

10
For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 11Through faith also Sara herself received strength
to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. 12Therefore
sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea
shore innumerable. 13These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of
them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14For they that say such things declare
plainly that they seek a country. 15And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had
opportunity to have returned.

16
But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared
for them a city. 17By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only
begotten son,18Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: 19Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from
the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. 20By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. 21By faith
Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. 22By faith Joseph, when
he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones. 23By faith Moses, when
he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's
commandment.24By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; 25Choosing rather to
suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 26Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches
than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. 27By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of
the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. 28Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that
destroyed the firstborn should touch them. 29By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do
were drowned. 30By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. 31By faith the harlot Rahab
perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace. 32And what shall I more say? for the time would
fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33Who through
faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. 34Quenched the violence of fire,
escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the
aliens.35Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a
better resurrection:36And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: 37They were
stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being
destitute, afflicted, tormented;38(Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves
of the earth. 39And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: 40God having provided some better
thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
