La lectura es importante para el estudiante ayuda a desarrollar sus capacidades de


pensamiento, de análisis y le da una riqueza léxica en inglés

Sin comprensión, leer no es más que seguir símbolos en una página con los ojos y sondearlos.
Imagine que le entregan una historia escrita en jeroglíficos egipcios sin comprender su
significado. Puede que aprecie estéticamente las palabras e incluso pueda extraer algunos
pequeños significados de la página, pero no está realmente leyendo la historia. Las palabras en
la página no tienen significado. Son simplemente símbolos. La gente lee por muchas razones,
pero la comprensión siempre es parte de su propósito. La comprensión de lectura es importante
porque sin ella la lectura no proporciona al lector ninguna información.

The Banker to the Poor


Muhammad Yunus is a Bangladeshi banker and economist. 1) __________ a professor of
economics, he is most famous for his successful application of the concept of microcredit,

During visits to the poorest households in the village of Jobra near Chittagong University,
