Bank services:

Known as a foreign bank in Vietnam, Shinhan bank has shown that it is capable to provide
various services for the customers. Similar to any other well-known banks in Vietnam, Shinhan
bank has two main type of services which are: personal service and corporate service.
1. Personal service:
Shinhan bank contains 4 mains personal services: deposit, personal loan, bancassurance,
personal e-banking.
1.1. Deposit services
S-payroll account, acts as a demand account, is made by Shinhan bank for customers who are in
need of receiving monthly salary or income. The benefit of this service is that customers do not
need to pay the account management fee and are not required to show minimal or average
balance. The bank distributes chip ATM cards, debit or credit cards for free. Customers can also
use transfering service, digital banking service, pay the bill, withdraw cash and receive SMS
notification of account balance with no fees in the first 3 months. Another option is Payroll
account, which is similar to the S-payroll one except it is non-term deposit account and it
provides free Visa debit card for global transactions. Shinhan bank also has services that
support students such as K-Study Account, which is designed for Vietnamese students
demanding on studying abroad in Korea or 4E Student Account for domestic as well as foreign
students studying and living in Vietnam. The bank does contain Term Deposit Account, Monthly
Interest Time Deposit Account, Installment Deposit Account and Free Installment Deposit
Account for customers to maximize their return with higher interest or enjoy monthly interest
for saving money.
1.2. Personal loan services:
Shinhan bank helps people buy cars or houses by offering out Car Loan and Housing Loan, in
which many options of fixed rate by years are provided. By partnering with Nam Long Group,
Shinhan bank gives its customers mortgage loans to own Mizuki apartment or Novia apartment
with various choice of fixed rate by years. Consumer Loan is also designed to meet customers’
demands of borrowing, coming along with Flexible Loan which has flexible loan limit that can
satisfy diverse financial needs.
1.3. Bancassurance services:
There is a wide range of insurances that are included in Shinhan’s services such as: vehicle
insurance, private houses and apartments insurance and health insurance, all of which have the
coverage scope from Vietnam to many other countries from the global.
1.4. Personal E-banking:
Similar to other banks at the present, Shinhan has ATMs and internet banking services.
Customers can use SMS services or mobile applications such as Smail to receive notifications
and financial status or SOL for transaction with OTP method.
1.5. Other offers:
Shinhan bank has promotion period events by areas in Vietnam. It also provides Top Club, the
system of which is designed for the loyal customers to receive more benefits and awards based
on their activities.
