TEMA: ADJETIVOS SUPERLATIVOS

Objetivo: Establecer una comparación jerárquica entre sustantivos para determinar la superioridad de uno
de ellos sobre un grupo del mismo género gramatical.

Encuentra en la sopa de letras el siguiente vocabulario

Picturesque = pinturesco

Oldest = más antigua Best = mejor

Magical = mágica Largest = más grande

Amazing = asombroso Crowded =concurrido

Hardest = más difícil Biggest = más grande

Most worried = más Fastest = más rápido

preocupado Efficient = eficiente
The = el, la, los, las Easiest = más fácil
Tired = cansado

Welcome = bienvenido

Lee con atención los siguientes conceptos.

Los adjetivos superlativos se los reconoce por lo

siguiente: Primero, tienen la terminación EST al MOST y EST significan en español
final del adjetivo en inglés, segundo, se les MÁS.
antepone MOST al adjetivo en inglés, y tercero, se THE significa: el, la, los, las
antepone al adjetivo el artículo THE
 La palabra MOST se usa sólo con los ADJETIVOS DE La terminación EST se usa sólo con los
DOS O MÁS SÍLABAS, es decir adjetivos largos. Por ADJETIVOS DE UNA SÍLABA, es decir
ejemplo:
adjetivos cortos. Por ejemplo:
Wonderful = maravilloso___ the most wonderful = el
Sad = triste___ The saddest = el más triste.

Ahora observa estas mismas oraciones aumentado un sustantivo (boy- city) después del adjetivo superlativo.
The saddest boy….el muchacho más triste. The most wonderful city…la ciudad más maravillosa.

ADJETIVOS DE UNA SÍLABA

Consonante + Y, se debe cambiar la Y por i latina,

REGLAS SUPERLATIVAS: Cuando el

Si el adjetivo es de dos o más sílabas SÓLO se debe Y Cuando el adjetivo finaliza en ED se le debe
ANTEPONER la palabra MOST. Por ejemplo: también ANTEPONER la palabra MOST. Por
wonderful = maravillosa…… most wonderful = más ejemplo: tired = cansado…… most tired = más
maravillosa cansado

BOGOTÁ

Bogotá is the largest and most important city in Colombia. More than 7 million people live there, which
also makes it the most crowded city in the country. Bogotá offers many interesting places to visit, for
example, museums, shopping centres and amusement parks. You can find both cheap and expensive
restaurants, which offer a wide variety of dishes to suit everyone's taste. Bogotá is also home to the
Transmilenio bus rapid transit system, which is Colombia's largest public transport system, and has
routes to all parts of the city. Medellín is the second biggest city in Colombia and about 2.1 million people
live there. The weather in this city is always warm: never too hot, never too cold. It's like spring all year
round! There are some amazing places to visit, for example, the incredible aquarium and planetarium at
Parque Explora, and of course, the charming town of Pueblito Paisa. You can travel around the city using
the Metro de Medellín, one of the world's most efficient public transport systems, which is definitely
the easiest and fastest way to travel!
