Introduction:-
Our system is consist on reservation and cancellation of railway ticket to the
passengers. The core function that are being perform by this system are
reservation management, Rental management, Timetable management.
These function will be operate with the help of sub-functions like reserve and
cancel the ticket for the passengers. It carry information about train, passengers
and goods. Details of reservation payment, any discount, etc. Passengers can
book their ticket by choosing these types of classes (ACSL- AC Sleeper, PC-AC
Parlour Car, ACLZ-AC Business, ACL- AC standard, ISL-First Class Sleeper, EC-
Economy Class, SEC-Second Class). There are entries for reservation and
cancellation of ticket. This website is user-friendly, so a user can interact easily.
User can also give feedback or suggest us for better performance.

Background Reading:-
Pakistan railway is a very largest railway network and it is very difficult to manage
it manually, therefore this online system arose. By using Computerize system they
can overcome many difficulties, it is more efficient. To manage the data and
record for a big system is very complicated task if we do manually but by using
computerize system, it made work easier. That is why we, need a new system.
The new system fulfill all the requirements.
Flaws of the Existing system:
 This website is not user friendly.
 It is very difficult to understand the environment of website.
 It is to overloaded website, it is very congested.
 It is not esthetic design.
 Need high physical effort.
 This design is not much efficient the user can exhaust in a very short
time, because user cannot easily find out what he want.
 This website contain irrelevant material.
 The legal right of Pakistan railways website is valid up to 2019 but
now it has been expired.
