1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :
AQUATEX-49DF is a non formaldehyde base cationic dye fixing agent for direct & reactive dyestuffs for
im parting l igh t f as tnes s, c hlorine f as tnes s . There is als o no d ye b leed ing du ring
washin g.

2. SALIENT FE ATURES :

High fixing ability to improve the washing fastness depending on dyestuff class and depth of
shade.

No influence on the brilliance and colour of dyed materials.

No influences on the hand feel of dyed materials.

It is formaldehyde free

3. PROPERTIES :
Physical Appearance : Yellow to light brown liquid
pH (2% aq Solution) : 4–6
Ionicity : Cationic
Specific gravity : 1.16 – 1.18
Solubility : Soluble in water in all proportion
Storage Stability : Good in closed containers

Compatibility with

• Anionic products : Poor, precipitation may occur

• Nonionic products : Good
• Cationic products : Good

4. APPLICATION :
Aquatex-49DF should be applied on dyed and printed fabric which is free from salts and surfactants i.e.
thoroughly soaped

Aquatex-49DF applied to fixing process of direct dye and reactive dye, the details of application are
given below:

f or padd ing at≤4 0°C. The liquor c ontai ns 3-10 gp l Aqua tex- 49 DF. Li quor c onc en tration
wil l var y depen di ng on the dye, dye category, depth of the dyeing and colour shade.

Dr y at 100-130°C

5. STORAGE :
Store in sealed containers in dry condition at temperature between 150C – 400C, away from direct heat,
sunlight, dust and moisture.

6. SHELF LIFE:
The shelf life is twelve months if stored below 400C in a sealed container.

7. P ACKING :
50 kg / 200 kg HDPE container.
