Tencent owns approximately 40% of Epic Games according to Wikipedia,


acquired 100% of League of Legends maker Riot Games' shares according to Wikipedia, and
acquired a majority of Clash of Clans maker Supercell's shares according to Reuters.

The Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice as well as the attorneys general of various states have
been looking at Apple's App store terms and are may soon launch a full-fledged investigation or file a suit, says Politico.

On June 16, 2020, the European Commission announced formal antitrust investigations into Apple's App Store rules
further to complaints by Spotify and an unnamed e-book/audiobook distributor.

Microsoft provided sworn declarations in support of early motions by Epic Games in its litigation with Apple
(declaration in support of motion for temporary restraining order, motion for preliminary injunction).
Microsoft's popular apps include the Office productivity suite and Minecraft. Microsoft declared itself in support of the
proposals of the Coalition for App Fairness, but it also makes the Xbox gaming console and argues that app distribution
terms on consoles are a separate matter because those devices are less profitable than the iPhone, a distinction
a federal judge wrote in a decision "is without legal precedent" in U.S. antitrust law.

rules further to statements by Japanese games industry executives (see Bloomberg report).

Korean industry groups filed a petition with the Korea Communications Commission for an investigating into Apple' and
Google's in-app purchasing rules (see Korea Herald report).

In 2019, the Dutch Autoriteit Consument en Markt (Authority for Consumers & Markets) published a
study on mobile app stores and launched an investigation into potential abuse of a dominant market position by Apple.

In October 2020, the Democratic majority of the United States House of Representatives published a Congressional
