EN ISO 20 345: CALZADO DE SEGURIDAD (PUNTERA DE ACERO 200J)
Esta norma especifica los requisitos básicos y opcionales para el CALZADO DE SEGURIDAD de uso profesional (EPI de Categoría II) destinado
a proteger al usuario de las lesiones que pudieran provocar los accidentes en aquellos sectores de trabajo para los que el calzado ha sido con-
cebido y que está equipado con puntera de acero que protege de los golpes con un nivel de energía máxima equivalente a 200 Julios y contra
un aplastamiento de hasta 15 kN.
MARCADO:
Hay dos clases:
- Clase I: fabricado en todo tipo de materiales, excepto polímeros naturales o sintéticos: SB, S1, S2, S3.
- Clase II: fabricado todo en caucho (vulcanizado) o todo polímero (moldeado): SB, S4, S5.
Las exigencias fundamentales y adicionales (optativas) del calzado de seguridad lleva la marca "S".
- Categoría SB: Propiedades fundamentales.

- Categoría S1: Propiedades fundamentales y además parte trasera cerrada, antiestático y absorción de energía en el talón.
- Categoría S2: S1 + Resistencia a la penetración del agua.
- Categoría S3: S2 + Resistencia a la perforación en la suela.
- Categoría S4 (II): propiedades fundamentales y además antiestático + absorción de energía en el talón.
- Categoría S5 (II): S4 + Resistencia a la perforación en la suela.
EN ISO 20 346: CALZADO DE SEGURIDAD (PUNTERA DE ACERO 100J)
Esta norma especifica los requisitos básicos y opcionales para el CALZADO DE SEGURIDAD de uso profesional (EPI de Categoría II) destinado
a proteger al usuario de las lesiones que pudieran provocar los accidentes en aquellos sectores de trabajo para los que el calzado ha sido con-
cebido y que está equipado con puntera de acero que protege de los golpes con un nivel de energía máxima equivalente a 100 Julios y contra
un aplastamiento de hasta 10 kN.
MARCADO:
Los diferentes tipos de calzado dentro de esta normativa EN-346 son igual que en EN-345 pero vienen marcados con la letra “P”: PB, P1, P2,
P3, P4, P5.
EN ISO 20 347: CALZADO DE TRABAJO (SIN PUNTERA DE ACERO)
Esta norma especifica los requisitos básicos y opcionales para el CALZADO DE TRABAJO de uso profesional (EPI de categoría II). Este tipo de
calzado difiere del calzado de seguridad porque carece de puntera de protección contra golpes y aplastamiento en la zona de la puntera.
MARCADO:
El marcado es igual que en la normativa EN-345 pero con la letra O (OB, O1, O2, O3, O4, O5).
OTROS SÍMBOLOS:
A = Calzado antiestático.
P = Resistencia a la perforación.
C = Calzado conductor.
HI = Aislamiento contra el calor.
CI = Aislamiento contar el frío.
E = Absorción de energía en el tacón.

EN ISO 20 345: SAFETY FOOTWEAR (STEEL TOE 200J)
This standard specifies the basic and optional requirements for safety footwear for professional use (PPE Category II) designed to protect the
user from injury that accidents in areas of work where the footwear is designed and is equipped with steel toe protects against bumps with a
maximum energy level equivalent to 200 Joules and against a crush of up to 15 kN+.
There are two classes:
- Class I: made of all materials, except natural or synthetic polymers: SB, S1, S2, S3. - Class II: all made of rubber (vulcanised) or all polymer
(modeling): SB, S4, S5.
The basic requirements and additional (optional) safety footwear is marked "S".
- Category SB: basic properties.

- Category S1: basic properties and also closed back, antistatic and energy absorbing heel. - Category S2: S1 + water resistant penetration.
- Category S3: S2 + puncture+ resistance in the sole.
- Category S4 (II): basic properties and also anti-static + energy absorption in the heel.
- Category S5 (II): S4 + Resistance to drilling in the sole.
EN ISO 20 346: SAFETY FOOTWEAR (STEEL TOE 100J)
This standard specifies the basic requirements and optional safety footwear for professional use (PPE Category II) designed to protect the user
from injury that could cause accidents in those areas of work for which the shoes was designed and is equipped with steel toe protects against
bumps with a maximum energy level equal to 100 Joules against crush up to 10 kN.
MARKINGS:
The different types of shoes within the standard EN-346 are the same as in EN-345 but will be marked with the letter "P": PB, P1, P2, P3, P4, P5.
EN ISO 20 347: WORK SHOES (NO STEEL TOE)
This standard specifies the basic and optional requirements for work footwear for professional purpose (PPE Category II). This type of footwear
differs fro safety footwear because it has no shock protection toe and crushing in the toe area.
MARKINGS:
The markup is the same as in the standard EN-345 but with the letter O (OB, O1, O2, O3, O4, O5).
