Dear IIISLA Members,

We are to inform that our Central Council has decided to upgrade the existing Members
(Individual Practitioners only), if they fulfill the length of SLA license holding continuously
without any break for the required number of years. Training hour’s requirement is relaxed to
( Zero Hours) as one time facility, due to various reasons that plagued our CPD program in
recent years. Hence, ALL the IIISLA Members who are individual practitioners may apply in the
prescribed application form. The Norms for the same is as follows.

Existing Members of IIISLA with zero hours of training will be considered for up gradation, as a
onetime exercise, if they fulfill the following criterion;

1. Licentiate to Associate: 12 years of SLA licence holding without break as of 31/08/2020

2. Associate to Fellow: 25 years of SLA licence holding without break as of 31/08/2020

The prescribed application form may be down loaded (Click Here to Download Application),
filled up in all respects and submitted through respective Unit, Chapter / Zone. Scan copy of
the application submitted to the unit, may be mailed to HO for necessary follow up. Please
look at the check list, and enclosures carefully and provide full information in one go; such
that the process does not take more time. Scan copies, queries if any may be mailed to
membershipupgradation-2020@iiisla.co.in Please note that the last date for receipt of the soft
copy is 31/08/2020. The hard copy may be send across, at the earliest to reach the HO within
the next 15 days from the date of submission of soft copy and the processing of the
application will be completed only after the receipt of the hard copy with all supporting and
credentials in order at the HO of IIISLA. Those who fit into the above criterion and have
already applied and their application is with HO, may not reapply, but may take confirmation
from HO about the status of your application lying at HO.

Members may please note that in case of objections, they are required to substantiate their
claim for upgradation by furnishing Form 12 and Form 26 AS, besides any other information as
may be called for by IIISLA.
