PASADO SIMPLE

Iniciamos el tema con el pasado del verbo ser o estar

TIEMPO PASADO DEL VERBO TOBE

Es el único verbo que cambia al conjugarlo en tiempo pasado-

FORMA AFIRMATIVA

I was fui, era - estuve, estaba

you were fuiste, eras / estuviste, estabas
he was fue, era - estuvo, estaba
she was fue, era- estuvo, estaba
it was fue, era, estuvo. Estaba (un objeto, un animal, una cosa)
we were fuimos, éramos, - estuvimos, estábamos
you were fueron, eran, - estuvieron, estaban (ustedes)
they were fueron, eran - estuvieron, estaban (ellos)

FORMA NEGATIVA

En la forma negativa, simplemente escribo (not) después del verbo

I was not (I wasn't) No fui, no era - no estuve, no estaba

you were not (you weren't)
he was not (he wasn't)
she was not (she wasn't)
it was not (it wasn't)
we were not (we weren't
you were not (you weren't)
they were not (they weren't)
No fuiste, no eras - no estuviste, no estabas
Él no fue, no era -El no estuvo, no estaba
Ella no fue, no era -Ella no estuvo, no estaba
No fue, no era - no estuvo, no estaba, un animal, una cosa
No fuimos, no éramos, - no estuvimos, no estábamos
No fueron, no eran - no estuvieron, no estaban (ustedes)

FORMA INTERROGATIVA
was I? ¿fui?, ¿era? - ¿estuve?, ¿estaba?
were you? ¿fuiste?, ¿eras? - ¿estuviste?, ¿estabas?

A partir de este, ninguno sufre variación al conjugarlos en tiempo pasado

En la forma interrogativa, se debe usar el verbo to do en pasado (did) delante del sujeto, en
el siguiente orden.

Primero se escribe el Auxiliar did, segundo el sujeto, tercero el verbo principal en su forma
original, es decir, en tiempo presente sin (to) cuarto complemento, cinco el signo de
interrogación, (solo al final de la oración)

Ejemplo.

Did you play soccer last Sunday? ¿Jugaste fútbol el domingo pasado?
Did they go to the river las week? ¿Fueron al río la semana pasada?
Did they study last year? ¿Estudiaron ellos el año pasado?

Sin el signo de interrogación, la frase está mala

En las oraciones negativas, se escribe, primero el sujeto, segundo el auxiliar did, tercerola
negación, también pueden escribir de esta forma(didn’t) después el verbo principal en su
forma original, es decir, en presente sin (to) por último, el complemento

I did not want that I didn’t want that no quise eso

He did not come yesterday He didn’t come yesterday él no vino ayer
You did not go to the beach You didn’t go to the beach no fuiste a la playa
