Mi familia

ACT 1
Mi familia es muy grande. Tengo seis hermanos – cuatro hermanos y dos hermanas. Soy el
mayor. Tengo treinta y dos años.
Mi papá es doctor y mi mamá es enfermera. Ambos trabajan en un hospital.
Ya soy casado. Mi esposa se llama Rachel. Ella solo tiene un hermano. Ella también tiene una
madrastra y un padrastro. Su familia me cae muy bien. Todavía no tenemos hijos.
Tengo abuelos por parte de mi madre. También tengo muchos tíos, tías, y primos.
Todavía no tengo sobrinos ni sobrinas, porque mis hermanos son jóvenes.

My family is very large. I have six siblings – four brothers and two sisters. I am the oldest. I’m
thirty-two years old.
My dad is a doctor and my mom is a nurse. Both work in a hospital.
I’m already married. My wife’s name is Rachel. She has only one brother. She also has a
stepmother and stepfather. I like her family very much. We do not have children yet.
I have grandparents on my mother’s side. I also have many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
I don’t have any nephews or nieces yet, because my siblings are young.

ACT 2:
En mi familia, somos cinco. Hay mi padre, mi madre, mi hermano, mi hermana, y yo. Mi
hermano se llama Paco, y mi hermana se llama Elena. Mi padre usa lentes, y mi madre tiene pelo
negro. Paco tiene quince años, y a él le toca lavar los platos. Elena tiene cinco años, y ella no
tiene que hacer nada. Mis padres cocinan la comida casi siempre, pero a veces nosotros comemos
en un restaurante. Mis padres son altos, pero yo soy bajo.

There are five members of my family. There is my father, my mother, my brother, my sister, and
I. My brother is named Paco, and my sister is named Elena. My father uses glasses, and my
mother has black hair. Paco is 15 years old, and it is his chore to wash the plates. Elena is 5 years
old, and she does not have to do anything. My parents almost always cook the food, but
sometimes we eat at a restaurant. My parents are tall, but I am short.
ACT 3:
Mi familia es pequeña. Mi mamá se llama Ana. Ella es enfermera. Mi mamá es muy amable e
inteligente. Tengo dos hermanos. Mi hermano se llama Alan. Él es muy alegre. Es alto. Yo soy
bajo. Mi hermana es bonita. Mi papá es muy trabajador. Mis abuelos son divertidos y nos quieren
mucho. Somos una familia feliz.

My family is small. My mother’s name is Ana. She is a nurse. My mother is very kind and
intelligent. I have two brothers. My brother’s name is Alan. He is very cheerful. He is tall. I’m
short. My sister is pretty and my dad is hard-working. My grandparents are fun and they love us
very much. We are a happy family.

ACT 4:
Mi familia es grande. Vivo con mis padres. Mi mamá es empresaria y mi papá trabaja en un
banco. Tengo dos hermanas, Alicia y Mercedes. También tengo dos hermanos, Javier y Hernán.
Todos nos llevamos muy bien. Alicia es la mayor de todos. Ella es inteligente y le gusta leer
libros. Mercedes es la menor y le gusta ver televisión. Javier es necio y a veces es travieso. Javier
es un buen niño.
A Hernán le gustan los deportes y él es muy chistoso. Yo soy alto y creativo. Nosotros visitamos
a nuestros tíos y a nuestros primos a veces. En vacaciones vemos a los abuelos. Ellos son
estrictos y muy amables.

My family is big. I live with my parents. My mother is a businesswoman and my father work in a
bank. I have two sisters, Alicia and Mercedes. I also have two brothers, Javier and Hernán. We
all get along very well. Alicia is the eldest. She is intelligent and likes to read books. Mercedes is
the youngest and likes to watch TV. Javier is stubborn and sometimes naughty. Javier is a good
boy.
Hernán likes sports and he is very funny. I am tall and creative. We visit our uncles and our
cousins at times. On vacations we see the grandparents. They are strict but very friendly.
 Mi casa, tu casa

Yo tengo una casa pequeña. Hay cuatro cuartos, una sala, una cocina y
cuatro baños. Los baños son pequeños. La sala es espaciosa. La sala
tiene un televisor grande y muchos objetos más. La cocina luce pequeña
pero en realidad es grande. La cocina está junto a la sala. Cada cuarto
tiene baño y una ventana. Hay un pasillo pero es angosto. Me gustan la
sala y la cocina de la casa.

I have a small house. There are four bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and
four bathrooms. The bathrooms are small. The living room is spacious. The
room has a large TV and many more objects. The kitchen looks small but is
actually big. The kitchen is next to the living room. Each room has a bathroom
and a window. There is a hall but it is narrow. I like the living room and the
kitchen of the house
