Workshop Overview
This comprehensive 4-day program has been designed based on SMRP Book of Knowledge to benefit both
new professionals and experienced professionals. It covers advanced best maintenance practices that a
qualified professional would require to carry out his duty starting with the first steps and building up knowledge
and experience to a fully functional maintenance organization.

Focus is directed on concepts of maintenance and reliability management, Root Cause Analysis, and
establishing a healthy maintenance program. The program focuses on various aspects of analytical
techniques which have proved valuable in maintenance planning and scheduling. We also cover the
Human Factor from many sides.

This program is designed to transfer knowledge and to be a stimulating experience. It is highly interactive
with many discussions, group activities and case studies. Participants can share examples from their own
experience based on the new methodologies and work in teams with other participants to locate problems
and develop actions for improvement.

The Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional test on the fourth day of this workshop is based on
accumulated personal experience and not based on a specific syllabus, by going beyond textbook
knowledge and testing real-world experiences and abilities. SMRP values data-driven excellence, sharing/
collaboration, membership focus, continuous improvement, accountability, trust and respect, integrity and
social responsibility.

- Manoj RMP PBA, Business Analysis, Planning, Reliability, Monitoring & Control

“The Root Cause Analysis (RCA) course conducted by Mr. Moataz Gomaa in Dubai, UAE, to Saudi
Telecom Company (STC) delegates from Saudi Arabia on November 27 – December 1, 2016, was a
very rewarding and insightful experience. The knowledge I gained from the course is worth applying in
my work as well as in my personal undertakings.

Mr. Gomaa delivered the course with high-level competency and skill through excellent course
materials, like videos and handouts, supported by relevant examples derived from industrial and
manufacturing contexts.

Mr. Gomaa has abundant stock of knowledge pertaining to the topics/subjects he presented to course
participants.

Mr. Gomaa’s attitude toward the delegates is highly appreciable because he saw to it that participants
understood the topics well enough by repeating the explanation as necessary. The effectiveness of the
course was reinforced by the skill of Mr. Gomaa in precisely translating the explanations intermittently.
The interactive approach in presenting the course likewise enhanced understanding effectively.
Mr. Gomaa is highly recommended to conduct his courses to companies’ valued assets—their human
resource.”
-Efren Alvarez Galapon, Project Manager, Saudi Telecom Company Solutions

“I have attended recently a training course with Moataz where he demonstrated profound knowledge
and experience in the training subject and methods. He was confident with ability to get the involvement
of audience combined win active listening and teaching skills and the use of different questioning and
participation techniques.”

which will be adding value to my job and team’s performance. I will definitely recommend your
trainings to others; your passion, inclusiveness and training skills really stand out.”
-Floortje Schuurman, Commercial Director @ GE Aviation – Aircraft Engines

“We have had a number of TPM training workshops conducted at Ducab in the past, however the one
conducted by my esteemed colleague Moataza was rated as the best. This course had participants
with 20 years + experience in the Maintenance field.
Details of the Recommendation: Moataz has a world of technical & presentation experience. We at
Ducab do appreciate the way he kept our technical experts involved during the three day workshop
& delivered more than just the training. He transformed the thinking of the whole group from 6 to 9
which is commendable.”
-Carl Mascarenhas, Technical Trainer

“Having worked with Moataz on a training programme, I realised that it is his energy and enthusiasm
to deliver the best that makes him stand apart from his peers. Being an expert in the subject, he is
extremely professional in his approach, and needs no time to connect to the audience using humour,
fun and interaction at his training sessions. Knowing the needs of the customers and delivering what
they are exactly looking for - is one of his key strengths. I would recommend Moataz as the best bet for
organizations looking to conduct quality training programmes for their employees.”
