Invarianza en el tiempo
Invarianza en el tiempo (TI): Se dice que un sistema es invariante en el
tiempo ⇔ se cumple que dada una señal de entrada x0(t) cuya salida
correspondiente sea y0(t), entonces para una entrada x(t)= x0(t −t0), la
salida es y(t)= y0(t−t0) cualesquiera que sean x0(t) y t0

Causalidad
Causalidad: Se dice que un sistema es causal ⇔ su respuesta en
cada instante depende exclusivamente de los valores de la
entrada en el instante actual o en instantes pasados.
Equivale a decir que la respuesta del sistema comienza en el
instante en que comienza la entrada o en instantes posteriores
cualquiera que sea la señal de entrada. Es decir, el sistema cumple
el principio de causalidad o la relación causa-efecto: el efecto
siempre es simultáneo o posterior a la causa. Como consecuencia,
todos los sistemas que funcionan en tiempo real son causales
Ej. Causal:
• Pisar el pedal del freno ⇒ el coche frena
• Aplicación de una tensión a un circuito ⇒ paso de corriente
• Pulsar el botón de encendido ⇒ encendido de un equipo
Ej: No causal:
• Grabar una secuencia ⇒ reproducción en sentido inverso
• Registrar temperaturas ⇒ presentar temperatura media del día
Memoria
Memoria: Se dice que un sistema no tiene memoria ⇔ la salida en
cada instante depende exclusivamente de los valores de la
entrada en el instante actual (no depende del futuro ni del
pasado).
• Un sistema sin memoria es causal.
• Un sistema sin memoria no almacena energía (datos).
• Un sistema no causal tiene memoria
Ej. Invertible:
• Amplificar o atenuar una señal y[n]=a·x[n]
• Retrasar o adelantar una señal: y(t)=x(t+t0)
• Se puede despejar unívocamente x(t) (o x[n]) de la relación
entrada-salida
Ej. No invertible:
• Derivar una señal: y(t)=dx(t)/dt
• Elevar a una potencia entera una señal: y(t)=x2(t)
