STATE OF TEXAS, ‘AFFIDAVIT FOR ARREST WARRANT ‘COUNTY OF DALLAS
BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority, on this day personally appeared the undersigned affiant who, after
being duly sworn by me, on oath stated: My name is David Grubbs #9159 and I am a peace officer of the City
of Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. I, the affiant, have good reason and do believe that on or about the 26th day of
July 2020, one VINCENT DANIEL HARRIS did then and there in the City of Dallas, Dallas County, Texas
commit the offense of MURDER violation of Section 19.02 of the Texas Penal Code, a FIRST DEGREE
FELONY.
Afidavit's belief is based upon the following facts and information which Affiant rezeived from:

O . a fellow peace officer of the City of Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, who personally participated in the
investigation of this alleged offense, providing this information to AfTiant, and whose information A fiant believes to be credible.
On July 26, 2020, at approximately 1:15 PM, Suspect Vincent Daniel Harris committed the offense of Murder,
a violation of the Texas Penal Code (19.02) F/L, against Complainant Joe Dominguez at 700 Sabine Street,
Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.
‘Qn July 26, 2020, at approximately 1:15 PM, Complainant Joe Anthony Dominguez and Witness
‘were inside of their vehicle traveling northbound on Marsalis Avenue, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, when they
observed a white four-door sedan with dark tinted windows driving aggressively behind them. The complainant
was driving his vehicle and Witness [INE was the front passenger. The suspect vehicle approached the
complainant’s vehicle and began driving very closely behind the complainant's vehicle and Witness
believed the suspect vehicle was going to collide with their vehicle.
The complainant then tumed his vehicle eastbound onto Sabine Street, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, As the
‘complainant tumed, the suspect also turned in the same direction and drove beside the complainant's vehicle.
‘At that time, the suspect (later identified as Suspect Vincent Daniel Harris B/M QED pulled his vehicle
(later identified as a white 2012 Dodge Avenger bearing Texas temporary license plate: SINE VIN:
Jongside the complainant's vehicle and began shooting at the complainant's vehicle
striking the complainant in the head at 700 Sabine Street, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. ‘The complaint then
crashed his vehicle. Witness [IIE suffered minor cuts from the broken glass and called 911, Dallas Fire-
Rescue personnel responded and transported the complainant to the hospital where he died several hours later
from his injuries. Dallas Police Patrol Officers also responded and notified the Homicide Unit after the
complainant died. Detectives responded to the scene and canvassed for video and were able to find video of the
suspect vehicle before and after the offense.
From the video found related to the offense, the suspect vehicle was determined to be a white 2011-2014 Dodge
Avenger with no front plate, a black driver-side rearview mirror, chrome paneling on the door pillars, and
factory wheels.
‘An informational bulletin was put out to Dallas Police Officers regarding the offense and the suspect vehicle.
On July 27, 2020, Dallas Police Officers observed Suspect Hartis’ vehicle matching the suspect vehicle
description for this offense, performed a traffic stop on the vehicle, and found Suspect Harris to be the driver.
During the stop, Suspect Harris agreed to come to Dallas Police Headquarters for a voluntary interview.
During a video-recorded interview at Dallas Police Headquarters conducted by Detective B. Tabor, #7687,
Suspect Harris waived his Miranda rights and gave a voluntary statement in which he stated that he was not
involved in the offense, During the interview, Suspect Harris gave his phone number a_i
Suspect Harris informed officers that the vehicle is registered to his sister, however, the vehicle belongs to him
and he is the person who drives it. The suspect later requested his attorney and terminated the interview prior to
its conclusion.Case 150834-2020 Page 2 of2
TA search warrant was executed for Suspect Harris' phone records. From those records, Suspect Harris’ phone
showed to be in close proximity to the offense location at the time of the offense.
