WILLs (Women in Love with the Lord)

As we gather today there is much I want to share with you,
though I realize that in this age of information there is little I can
say that hasn’t already been communicated in one way or an-
other.
Our special guest today is Mr. Allen Huth. Allen has a
very unique call upon his life as he seeks to challenge
people to be readers of God’s Word on a daily basis. As
founder of The Ezra Project, Allen continues to seek
ways to encourage folks like you and me to be faithful
in our time efforts to hear God speak through His Word. I know
you’ll be inspired by his powerful message.
By now most of you know that Brett and Marissa
Williams have submitted their resignation in order to
move to the New York area where they have accepted
the call to pastor a wonderful church. For the past two
years Brett has been the Cultural Architect of what we
have called theClay. He has helped us as a church to be more ex-
ternally focused than we have been in years. We pray for the
Williams as they prepare for this major transition in their lives.
This past Tuesday evening our Board voted to call Dr.
Carlton Harvey to serve as our Ministries Coordinator.
He and his wonderful wife, Sharon, will be moving to
Denver from Moscow, Idaho, along with daughter
Lauren. They will begin this new area of ministry imme-
diately. What is a Ministries Coordinator, you ask? It’s someone
who comes along side the pastor and gives direction to the staff
and helps to put legs on the vision and mission. Dr. Harvey (call
me Carlton) has his PhD in the area of renewal in religious organi-
zations and he has a deep love for strategic planning and struc-
ture.
