1. OBJETIVOS

El presente informe contiene la verificación estructural de un Monoposte Cónico de 27 m de alto,


diseñado para solicitaciones de viento del tipo 80 Mph, frente a las cuales cumple para las cargas de diseño.

2. CONSIDERACIONES

2.1. INFORMACIÓN GENERAL.

La información contenida en este informe ha sido extraída de las siguientes fuentes:

▪ Norma para estructuras y torres de acero para telecomunicaciones, “TIA/EIA-222-G”, por


Telecommunications Industry Association.
▪ Norma AISC LRFD.
▪ Norma NSR10 Normas Colombianas de diseño y construcción sismo resistente.
▪ Guía de especificaciones técnicas entregadas por Cliente “Collocation Colombia”.

Las características estructurales del monoposte son presentadas a continuación:

▪ Monoposte tipo : Cónico, de sección poligonal uniforme de 12 lados.


▪ Unión de tramos : Tramos unidos mediante traslapes.
▪ Material planchas : Acero A36 (Fy=250 MPa).
▪ Material Brida : Acero A36 (Fy= 250 MPa).
▪ Pernos de anclaje : SAE 10-45 ó equivalente.
▪ Número de tramos : 5.
▪ Detalle de tramos : Detalle y disposición de tramos presentado en Tabla Nº1.

2.2 MODELACIÓN

Las características de las solicitaciones son:

▪ Presiones de viento de acuerdo a: 80 mph según TIA/EIA-222-G.


▪ Áreas de viento para estructura del monoposte, según TIA/EIA-222-G.
▪ Cargas debido a tipo, dimensiones y orientaciones de las antenas, según TIA/EIA-222-G.
▪ Antenas según, Tabla Nº2.

▪ Factor de probabilidad de la dirección del viento: Kd: 0.95


▪ Categoría de exposición: B
▪ Categoría topográfica: 1 (general)

▪ Coeficientes de categoría Ke: 0.9
▪ Factor de importancia: I: 1.15
▪ Altura de la cresta sobre el terreno circundante: H= no aplica por categoría topográfica según
TIA EIA 222-G.

Notas:

1. Según Norma TIA-EIA 222G, apartado 2.6.6.4 Factor topográfico, especifica que: Kzt = 1.0
para la categoría topográfica 1.

2. El Azimut corresponde al ángulo que define el plano que contiene a la dirección del viento
analizada con aquél que contiene a la cara de exposición de la antena.

3. Se ha considerado que la totalidad de los cables son concurrentes a un determinado grupo


de antenas se encuentran anclados al monoposte a la altura de esas antenas y por el interior
del monoposte, lo que equivale a aplicar el peso total de ellos a esa altura. Lo anterior
representa la situación más perjudicial para la estructura del monoposte.

3. CÁLCULO DE LAS SOLICITACIONES

Las solicitaciones de viento sobre los distintos elementos de la estructura y sus antenas, han sido
determinadas de acuerdo a las presiones de viento contenidas en la norma TIA/EIA-222-G, para 80 mph.

LRFD: La combinación de cargas “1.2*PP ± 1.6*Viento”, “0.9*PP ± 1.6*Viento” considera lo siguiente:

PP : Peso Propio de la estructura, accesorios y antenas.


VE : Cargas de viento debido a la estructura.
VA : Viento sobre las antenas y sus soportes.
VF : Viento sobre los feeders y escaleras.

La referencia “+/- Viento” establece dos sentidos de viento contrarios pero paralelos.

4. VERIFICACIÓN ESTRUCTURAL
Se analizará el monoposte con sus antenas, para la solicitación de viento ya descrita, mediante el TN
Towers.

El método de diseño considerado corresponde al de resistencia ultima LRFD, el mismo sobre el cuál está
basada la norma TIA/EIA 222-G.

4.1 TRAMOS MONOPOSTE.

Se obtiene un Factor de Utilización máximo de 96.4 %, correspondiente al primer tramo del monoposte.
Ver Anexo A página 16.

4.2 PERNOS DE ANCLAJE.

5. CONCLUSIONES

De acuerdo a la verificación estructural del monoposte, se puede concluir lo siguiente:

▪ La combinación de cargas solicitantes, ha determinado un Factor de Utilización máximo de 96.4


%, para un código de verificación por (LRFD) en el cuerpo del monopolo tramo 1.
▪ La cantidad (16), calidad (SAE1045) y/o los diámetros (1 ¼”) de pernos de anclaje son
suficientes para resistir las solicitaciones determinadas en este informe, estableciéndose un
Factor de Utilización máximo de 82.2 %.
▪ Las Reacciones máximas son (Anexo A, página 17):
- Momento : 56034 Kg*m.
- Corte : 2869 Kg.
- Axial : 5351 Kg.

La presente verificación sólo es válida para los tipos y disposición de antenas y cargas, correspondientes
a aquellos descritos en este informe.

This tower is designed using the TIA-222-G standard.
The following design criteria apply:
Basic wind speed of 128.00 kph.
Structure Class II.
Exposure Category B.
Topographic Category 1.
Crest Height 0.00 m.
Deflections calculated using a wind speed of 96.00 kph.
Weld together tower sections have flange connections..
Connections use galvanized A325 bolts, nuts and locking devices. Installation per TIA/EIA-222 and AISC
Specifications..
Tower members are ''hot dipped'' galvanized in accordance with ASTM A123 and ASTM A153 Standards..
Welds are fabricated with ER-70S-6 electrodes..
A non-linear (P-delta) analysis was used.
Pressures are calculated at each section.
Stress ratio used in pole design is 1.
Local bending stresses due to climbing loads, feedline supports, and appurtenance mounts are not considered.
