El siguiente trabajo equivale a 10 horas presenciales de clases del 16 al 27 de marzo del 2020
cuyos temas son: GRAMÁTICA: Tiempo Presente Continuo y VOCABULARIO: Verbos de acción

A. LEA CON ATENCIÓN LA SIGUIENTE EXPLICACIÓN GRAMÁTICAL:

El TIEMPO RPESENTE CONTINUO se usa para describir acciones que están ocurriendo en este
momento, es decir, en el momento en el que se está hablando.
¿CÓMO SE FORMA? Con el verbo TO BE en presente (am, is, are) más el verbo principal en
gerundio (terminado en –ing). Sin embargo, dependiendo de la terminación del verbo debemos
hacer algunos cambios antes de agregar el ING.

REGLAS SEGÚN LA TERMINACIÓN DEL VERBO:

1) Para los verbos acabados en -e cambio la terminación "-e" por -ING. EJEMPLO:
 Use  Using = Usar  Usando
 Have  Haing = Tener  Teniendo
2) Para los verbos acabados en -ie cambio la terminación "-ie" por -YING. EJEMPLO:
 Die  dying = Morir  Muriendo
 Lie  lying = Mentir  Mintiendo
3) Para los verbos de 1 o 2 silabas terminados en CONSONANTE-VOCAL-CONSONANTE repito la
última letra y agrego -ING. EJEMPLO:
 Get  Getting = Conseguir  Consiguiendo
 Forbid  Frobidding = Prohibir  Prohibiendo
 EXCEPCIÓN: Play  Playing = Jugar  Jugando
4) Si el verbo no cumple con las 3 reglas anteriores, significa que sigue la REGLA GENERAL
donde simplemente agregamos al final del verbo -ING. EJEMPLO:
 Eat  Eating = Comer  Comiendo
 Read  Reading = Leer  Leyendo

ESTRUCTURA DEL PRESENTE CONTINUO

1) FORMA AFIRMATIVA: Sujeto + am/is/are + Verbo terminado en -ING + Complemento
EJEMPLO: She is watching a movie.
TRADUCCIÓN: Ella está viendo una película.

2) FORMA NEGATIVA: Sujeto + am/is/are + not + Verbo terminado en -ING + Complemento

EJEMPLO: I am not writing a letter.
TRADUCCIÓN: Yo no estoy escribiendo una carta.

3) FORMA INTERROGATIVA: am/is/are + Sujeto + Verbo terminado en -ING + Complemento + ?

EJEMPLO: Are you buying a house?
TRADUCCIÓN: ¿Están ustedes comprando una casa?
