NAME: House Dolores

CLIENT: Maria de los Angeles López

CHARACTERISTIC: Construcción de vivienda en lote familiar

PROJECT: Construction of a family house, in his property.

STATEMENT: design and land adaptation

CONUNTRY: COLOMBIA, (TOLIMA)

RESUME: In this area of the country, the families are mainly dedicated to the cultivation of coffee,

but during the last 50 years, they have been affected by violence, these reasons forced them to

migrate, but now some of them are returning home.

This project is for one of those families.

MATERIALS: the materials for the project are mainly local wood and tapia pisada. (which is

ground and compacted fibers)

We use only materials from the territory, first tapia pisada because there we have an ecologic
material, cheap and have thermal characteristics, in the design we contemplate the sun and
temperature of the place, then we use a wall of tapia for protect the house and his temperature of
the radiation in the afternoon.
