TITLE: Power Supply Card Installation Procedure for ET3000 - ET4000

MODEL AND SERIAL NUMBER:


ET3000, ET3500, ET4000

ETB12, ETB14

SUBJECT: The following procedure describes the proper installation process of the power supply card for
the models listed

CAUSE: Technicians have problems finding the information in the service manual

RESOLUTION
Reference the instructions included for replacement of the power supply card without having to replace
the entire logic unit

Tightening Torque of All Bolts: .98Nm +/- .2Nm

Power Card Assembly P/N: 16A71-12030

Installing Power Supply Card

• The logic card can be found under the floor


panel on the right side step.

• Unplug the DRS switch connector, the Power


Supply connector, and the three main logic
card connectors to access it.

Remove the bolts circled above, and


gently slide the plastic housing off.

Remove the bolts circled above


and flip the unit around.

Remove the bolts circled above, and gently remove


the logic card assembly from the housing.

Continue by removing the


remaining bolts circled above.

Remove the bolts circled below.


Slide the card up and out of the
housing.

• Gently remove the power supply card from


where it sits.

• Put the new power supply card in and tighten


using all 4 screws.

• Tighten the three heatsink screws.

• Install the logic card assembly back into the


housing & secure down using the 4 bolts.

• Put the plastic cover back on carefully as to not


damage the housing or the cushion that the
housing sits on.

• Secure the housing by tightening the bolts that


screw into the bottom of the plate.

• Re-install into the truck and plug the DRS switch


connector, the Power Supply connector, and the 3
logic card connectors.
