to shortage of manpower and lack of skill, this job is being off-loaded.
10.00 For down hill conveyors and long length conveyor to achieve long conveyor life,
HOT Vulcanising shall be carried out to achieve smooth performance, Due to
shortage of manpower and lack of skill, this job is being off-loaded.
24.00 After increase in speed of conveyors; pulley shell damage reports have increase
substantially. There are sudden failures and repeated production losses. It is
proposed to lag non-drive pulleys lagged with 10mm thick plain lagging sheet. In
first phase, it is proposed to lag 200 sqm of pulley surface area of non-drive
pulleys during FY 19-20. This job is to be off-loaded as it requires special type of
skill sets and materials.
25.00 Due to normal wear and tear the chutes in the plant need repair to prevent
spillage and down time. Total of 80T. of Steel work is estimated for changing
mother plate and fixing liners. It has been proposed that the work will be executed
through outside agency on Sundays and holidays. Many new fabrication jobs have
also been planned. Allocation is increased by 60% over last FY, as the Chute
bodies require modifications due to new wearing surfaces.
10.00 There are instances of liners getting dislodged after wearing leading to belt
damage and flowability issues with the fines products. It is proposed to install
rubber liners and pre-fabricated Mn liners in ROM and lump handling chutes and
Polymer liners in fines handling Chutes to improve the system productivity. The
job of fixing of these liners is proposed to be off-loaded, as the departmental
resources are very limited.
6.00 A number of new hydraulic systems have been installed in mobile equipment of
ore processing plant, as maintenace of hydraulic system require special type of
skills. It is proposed to off-load the jobs of hydraulic system mainteance.

during the maintenance time. During the available maintenance time, conveyor
pulley replacement jobs take substantial time, it is proposed to off-load the job of
pulley maintenance during shutdown. On trial basis, this year it is proposed to
under take 24 pulley replacement jobs during the year @ 20k

13 Repairing & Paiting of plant structures & 10.00 various structures are exposed to nature & got rusted,which in turn getting weak &
Mobile Equipments(stacker,reclaimer) prone to collapse,hence need reapiring as & where required & painting.

16 Rate contract for auto lubrication system of auto lub system need to be revamped in reclaimer & stacker. Presently not
SSP reclaimer & stacker and fines stacker working properly. AMC is to be given to ensure proper functioning.
