Wine Tourism Center Enoteca Qubél

The concept of Qubél implies a
complete project revolving around
nature that permits involving our
clients through not only a product or
service, but also emotionally. The
Wine Tourism Center Enoteca Qubél
has been created as one-step more
within this project initiated by the
family Gosálbez-Orti. Here we can
share in an imaginative way our
oenological experience and all which
is related to nature, ecology or
gastronomy, that help us reach a state
of pleasure.

It is a place for the discovery,

education and enjoyment of the
senses associated with wine, gastronomy and nature.

Enoteca Qubél is a visitor’s center that includes

the sale of our products, a meeting room and a
facility for ageing bottled wine. It is located in
the center of the village Pozuelo del Rey in the
province of Madrid, about 100 meters from the
winery and 5 kilometers from the vineyard, all
of which is only 35 minutes away from the
center of the city Madrid.

The Enoteca offers a warm and welcoming

atmosphere in a space where the traditional style
architecture and the building materials natural to
a rural setting, mix with innovative design and
equipment. Meanwhile, the decoration
incorporates noble and antique elements with
practical ones to facilitate our activities.

The ground floor with its homey atmosphere

serves for display and sales of our products, as
well as a relaxed tasting area.
The Enoteca
The Winery and The Wines

Naturally, the winery where we

produce the Qubél wines is at the
heart of a visit to our facilities.
However, what is a visit to a
winery? Each winery surely has its
own interpretation, though we
believe that our offer is special
because we are a small, family run
business where we can adapt the
visit according to the interest of the
client. There is no script, allowing us
to convey our passion for wine to
neophytes, as well as seasoned
aficionados.
The Vineyards
Without good grapes, it is impossible to make
good wine. For that reason, to really get to
know a winery, you have to see their
vineyards. When the weather permits,
whatever time of year it is, we recommend a
tour of the vineyards to round out your visit.

A part from being a beautiful and calm place

for a stroll, we explain the impact of the work
in the fields and why we believe in using
organic cultivation methods. You can see our
plantings of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon,
Syrah and Merlot, the wonderful views of
Madrid, and maybe a glimpse of a wild hare or
partridge.

Activity: Basic Visit and Tasting 2010
What is included in a Basic visit?:
The winery visit is guided by the Gosálbez-Orti family, during which we
transmit our passion for winemaking. During the approximately 30 minutes of
the visit to the winery, the oenologist talks about all the technical aspects of the
process. Then, the group moves to our Wine Tourism Center, where a tasting
professional will give a guided tasting of three of our wines. In total, the visit
lasts about two hours. For this type of visit we accept groups of up to 50 people. For groups of more than 26
people, we divide the group in two for the activities so that the visit is more comfortable and with more
personal contact.

Activity: 5 Gastronomic Options

Wine tasting is always more enjoyable when it is accompanied by
something good to eat. What we serve is chosen to highlight the best
qualities of our wines. The prices of these gastronomic options must be
added to the price of the visit or other contracted activities unless they
specify otherwise.
