element6 Group, Inc. announces its acquisition of global enterprise carbon management software solution,
CarbonView.

ADDISON, TX (PRweb) <date> -- The acquisition combines CarbonView’s internationally implemented carbon
accounting and management solution with element6 Group’s industry-leading sustainability consulting services.

“We scoured the U.S. and international markets for over a year looking for the world’s best carbon accounting and
management solution, and found CarbonView,” states Michael J. Gilbert, CEO and founder of element6 Group. “It
was the only carbon accounting platform with a globally recognized brand, multiple years of experience, international

CarbonView was originally developed by Viewlocity — a 12-year veteran in the supply chain software market. It was
one of the first purpose-built carbon management solutions, achieving its first sale in 2007. It has strong brand
recognition in Europe and Australia, where mandatory carbon reporting regulations are already in place. Customers
include Bosch and Siemens, Kimberly-Clark, Jaguar, Peabody Energy and Macquarie Group.

CarbonView goes beyond basic carbon footprinting and offers advanced features such as custom emission sources,
carbon intensity tracking, KPI tracking, supply chain allocation rules, the ability to run mock scenarios to determine
areas of reduction prior to investment and audit support.

Scope 3 emissions reporting at an affordable price point for small to medium-sized businesses.
