On Monday, March 23, 2020, at approximately 10:55 P.M., Suspect Eissa Yanouri-Roa, B/M = committed the offense of Murder, a First Degree Felony, against Complainant Jeremy Averett, This offens occurred at 11661 Dennis Road, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. The facts of the offense are as follows: On Monday, March 23, 2020, Dalles Police officers responded to a shooting call at 11661 Dennis Road in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. Patrol officers were notified that there was a gunshot victim inside a vehicle at the location. Upon arrival contact was made with 2 witness who was transported to Dallas Police Department Headquarters to be interviewed. The witness provided a clothing description along with a nickname of the suspect. The witness stated that she went with the complainant to make a drug transaction with the suspect but denied that they were going to rob the suspect, The suspect got into the complainant's vehicle, The witness stated that while the vehicle was in motion, the suspect asked the complainant to stop the vehicle multiple times. The witness stated that the suspect pulled a gun on the complainant. The complainant pulled a weapon and gunshots were exchanged. The complainant was shot by the suspect. The complainant was transported to spital and died as a result of his injuries. At appoximately 11:00 P.M. the suspect was taken to |Medical Center, which is near the offense location with a gunshot wound. Dallas Police Officers responded to the location to follow up and observed the clothing description matched what the witness described. The suspect was treated, released and taken to Dallas Police Headquarters to be interviewed. The suspect declined to give a statement and asked for an attorney. ‘The wintess identified the suspect from a single photo as the person that shot the complainant.
