Oo _ 8 fellow peace officer of the City of Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, who personally participated in the investigation of this alleged offense, providing this information to Affiant, and whose information Affiant believes to be credible. ‘On March 20, 2020, at about 3:15 a.m., Suspect Makayla Eddie, B/F EE committed the offense of Murder, Texas Penal Code 19,02, when she stabbed Complainant Gene Dromgoole, 6/M EE with a knife causing his death. This offense occurred at 2623 Andjon Drive, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. On March 20, 2020, at approximately 3:15 a.m., inant Gene Dromgoole was found with a single stab wound to the chest by Witnesses IE 2nd EN WicnessiMMcalled 911 and Dallas Police officers and Dallas Fire and Rescue responded to the scene. DFR transported Complainant Dromgoole to Parkland Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Witness T° the responding police officers that they heard a woman yelling “Stop” and then run from the scene. Dallas Police officers found Suspect Makayla Eddie, 8/F EE in 2 parking lot, bleeding from the hands. Suspect Eddie was transported to Parkland Hospital for a cut toher leg and multiple cuts to her hands. Suspect Eddie was later interviewed at Parkland hospital, and after being advised of her Miranda warning told, Detectives B. Tabor, #7687 and D. Grubbs, # 9159, that she was walking down Harry Hines Boulevard, and Complainant Dromgoole stopped and asked her what she charged for a “head Job.” Suspect Eddie told Complainant Dromgoole that she charged $60.00, and she got into his vehicle. Suspect, Eddie stated Complainant Dromgoole drove to a vacant parking lot and parked his vehicle. Suspect Eddie stated after engaging in oral sex, Complainant Dromgocie asked to pay additional for sex and the two got in the backseat. Suspect Eddie stated Complainant Dromgoole liad been drinking and had sexual difficulties. Suspect Eddie stated she and Complainant Dromgoole got back into the front seat and he asked her to stay longer. Suspect Eddie stated she told Complainant Dromgoole she wanted to leave, and he grabbed her by the neck attempting to choke her. Suspect Eddie stated as the altercation escalated, Complainant Dromgoole pulled a knife from the driver's door. Suspect Eddie stated Complainant Dromgoole demanded his money back and she gave it to him. Suspect Eddie stated after returning the money, Complainant Dromgaole continued to choke her while he was holding the knife. Suspect Eddie stated she feared for her life and reached for the knife. Suspect Eddie stated she was able to gain control of the knife and stab Complainant Dromgocle. Suspect Eddie stated she grabbed her bag and ran from the scene. Suspect Eddie stated she flagged down officers that were driving by her and told them what had happened.
