DRAFTED CONSTITUTION FOR THE ABOVE


MENTIONEDD GROUP IN MANDING HER
AFFAIRS
Section I
Part I: The Name and Birth

Article 1- This is a NON DENOMINATIONAL EVANGELICAL GROUP


called GOSPLE FOR THE END TIME (GET), hereby referred to as THE
GROUP.

It was established by 10 STUDENTS by the direction of the Holy


Spirit at Adisadel College, Cape Coast.

Article 2- Aims and Objectives

 Reaching out and spreading the gospel to the regardless


lost souls and win them for Christ
 Disclosing things happening in the end-time to the youth
 Giving hope to the poor and needy
 Terminating social vices in our family

Article 3- Establishment of branches.

Any non-denominational evangelical group which accepts our


doctrines and objectives, with the permission of the executive
council can bare the name GOSPEL FOR THE END TIME (GET)

Part II: Membership

Article 4- Recruitment of members

A devoted Christian with evangelism at heart qualifies to a


member of the group.

Article 5- Group registers

The group's register contains the Names, Address, Telephone


numbers, E-mail address, Parents’ name and
Denomination of the member.

Article 6- Control

Every activity held should be in the confines’ of the constitution.

Section III
Finance and Properties

Part I: Finance Policy

Article 10- Annual subscription fee is taken from the member to


the headquarters as decided by the Executive council.

Article 11- A termly (3 months) payment of 5% is made to the


headquarters as welfare dues by the chapters from the dues paid
to the chapter.

Part II: Financial Control

Article 12- The group operates 2 accounts namely GET WELFARE


FUND and GET ANNUAL SUSCRIPTION FEE accounts.

Article 13- Money could be withdrawn with the permission/


signature of any of the Presidents and the Financial Secretary.

In the absence of any of the Presidents any of the executive


member can, with the permission of the President append the
signature to redraw money.

Article 14- Internal Auditing is carried out by the appointed


committee set by the Executive Council annually.

Article 15- Properties

Every property is under the care of the Organizing Secretary.


Article 16- Purchasing of Properties

The Organizing Secretary with a committee is responsible for the


purchasing of any property.

Article 17- Funds for maintenance and projects would be taken


from the Get Annual Subscription Fee account and funds for the
welfare of the members taken from the Get Welfare Fund account.

80% of the Get Annual Subscription Fee will be disbursed to the


various offices.

Section IV
General Government

Part I: Councils

Article 18- The general council is composed of the National


Executive members, the Presidents and Secretaries of each
chapter. This council meets for review of reports from the various
chapters.

Article 19- The Executive council consist of the National


Executive Members.

RESPONSIBILITIES-

President

1. He shall preside over all meetings of the group


2. He monitors the activities of his executives
3. He ensures cordiality in the group
4. He is to make decisions but with the consult and reference to
the other executives.

Vice President

1. He acts in the absence of the President


2. He helps the President in his duties
3. Must undertake all assignments given to him by the
President
4. He c-operates effectively with the President

General Secretary

1. Takes minutes of all meetings


2. Writes all letters of the group
3. Makes sure that the agenda of the meeting is known to the
executives
4. Acts in the absence of the President
5. Must co-operate effectively with the executives and
members

Financial Secretary

1. Keeps all the funds generated within the group


2. Keeps records of all monies generated within the group
3. Renders vivid account to the group when called upon

Evangelism Secretary

1. Co-ordinates all evangelical activities such as place and


materials for evangelism.
2. Heads the evangelism team and must make sure that the
team works effectively

Prayer Secretary

1. Coordinates and organizes prayer meetings.


2. Heads the prayer team and so chairs the meetings of the
prayer team
3. The intermediate between the group and God

Counselor/ Executive Adviser

1. He/ She is the adviser to the executive and members as a


whole
2. Helps sustain won souls
3. The head of the counseling team
4. Makes sure that the conflicts in the group are settled
Organizing Secretary

1. Organizes places and makes sure that members are well


informed
2. Sees to it that programs are well undertaken
3. Coordinates with the Evangelism Secretary
4. Acts in the absence of the Secretary
5. Keeps records of the properties of the group
6. Heads the organizing team

Music and Drama Coordinator

1. Organizes and coordinated the drama and music team


2. Must coordinate well with Evangelism Secretary

General Responsibilities

All executives must;

1. be present at every meeting


2. undertake every assignment given to by the President
3. ensure that the aims and mission of the group are achieved

Article 20- Executive position is by appointment with a 2year


term of office.

Section V
Part I: Rules of Conduct

Article 21- Chapter Meetings

 Members should be regular and punctual at meetings


 Phones must be switched off during meetings
 Members should respect one another
 Members should be decently dressed at every meeting
and at all times
 Members should conduct/ comport themselves properly at
meetings.

Article 22- Camp Meetings


 All members are to report/ register with authority
responsible to ensure accurate attendance report.
 No registered member shall leave the camp premises
without permission or whatsoever
 All members shall be present at all scheduled programs
otherwise with permission
 All members are to go according to the program outline
given
 All must participate in the daily chores
 No littering around the camp
 All phones must be off
 There should comportment in all aspect of living
 ALL SPIRITUAL THINGS MUST BE SEEN AS SUCH AND NOT
FANATICALLY
 Every member shall dress decently
 In doubt or uncertainty of what to do ,members can
consult the General Secretary
 A breach of common sense (scripturally) is a breach of
camp rules.

Article 23- Evangelism


Our evangelism is NOT on the basis of money distortion.
ALL THAT ARE IN THIS BOOK MUST BE STRICTLY
ADHERED TO BY EVERY MEMBER.
