PROCEDURE
1. Activity 1: Warm up
Aim: to set the right atmosphere

Procedure: Greetings, introductory conversation

2. Activity 2: Lead in
Aim: to introduce Ss to the theme of the lesson by revising names of toys
Time: 10’
Procedure: T shows Ss some pictures with toys and asks Ss to recognise them. T
asks learners the colour of objects and the number of toys they see in pictures.

4. Activity 4: Practise through cards
Aim: to get Ss use more complex vocabulary structures like: two apples, three
bananas, etc.
Time:15’
Procedure: T shows Ss flashcards where Ss have to say how many fruit/toys etc
there are. First, T gives them several examples and then encourages Ss to answer
themselves. T asks the question ‘’How many balls?” and Ss say: “One ball.” Etc. T
elicits several pupils to come in front of the class and ask questions. The first Ss
to answer correctly takes his/her place. The game continues until all students
have asked questions.
