Maslul Ishi is a customizable program designed
by the Habonim Dror youth movement that
allows you to choose your own personal
experience in Israel. Whether you wish to study
at an academic institution, intern at an Israeli
company or volunteer at an international NGO,
Maslul Ishi staff will work with you to create
your own personal “path” in Israel. The program
includes mandatory Hebrew language study
and ongoing support and guidance from a
professional and knowledgeable staff. Depending
on your interests, the staff will help you to create
your own personal, tailor-made program.

Hebrew Union College requires students to
spend the first year of their studies in Israel

At Mayanot, women of diverse backgrounds study
together in an open-minded yet challenging
environment. This deep immersion in Jewish
learning nurtures a love for the Jewish people
and strengthens our connection to the land of
Israel. Yeshiva classes are text-based and give you
the opportunity to develop your learning skills. Other Mayanot Institute of Jewish
Classes are two hours long and are comprised Studies programs:
Women’s Judaic Studies Program (JSP) (see p. 111)
of chavrutah (study partner) style learning and a
follow-up class. The Mayanot Women’s Campus is Men’s Bet Midrash (see p. 106)
located in the heart of Jerusalem, in the beautiful Men’s Judaic Studies Program (JSP) (see p. 107)
neighborhood of Katamon and is walking distance
to downtown and the Old City.

The Torat Reva Fellowship in conjunction with Medical insurance
Midreshet Devora is an opportunity for Modern Masa Israel visa
Orthodox women who have recently graduated
from college or graduate school to live, learn
and feel the love of the Land of Israel. The Torat
Reva Fellowship combines stimulating classes
and educational trips. Classes offered include
TaNaCh, Prayer, Contemporary Issues, Talmud,
Women in Halacha, Zionism, Jewish Thought,
Halacha, Hashkafa/Mussar, Spiritual Activism,
Eretz Yisrael, Kashrut, Inspirational Shabbat
and an intensive Ulpan. Cultural mini-courses
include Tanach Tiyulim, archaeological digs,
museum studies, theatre, the arts, Israeli cuisine
and weekly guest lectures. Internships are an
integral part of the program and are organized
through the larger organization of Torat Reva
Yerushalayim.
