“How To Share Christ”
“The Priority Of Prayer”

Welcome: For what have you been praying over this past week?

Worshipping God: Read Romans 12:1. How does this challenge you in regards to your
worship of the Lord?

Walking with God: “How To Share Christ” (See pages 3 & 4)

Choose and discuss three or four of the questions below for the next 25 minutes (maximum).
Encourage cell members to examine the other questions during their own quiet time during the week.

1. In what ways do we first need to pray for ourselves in our desire to share Christ with others?

After your discussion of this question, you can find the answers to the questions in
“How To Share Christ” on page 17.

2. Why do we need to pray for those who are lost without Christ before we attempt to share the
truth of God’s Word with them?

Notes: See 1 Corinthians 2:14; 2 Corinthians 4:3-4

3. How should we pray for those who need to come to know about the salvation that we have
through Jesus Christ?

Notes: See John 16:7-11

4. As one of Jesus’ disciples, in what way does He ask us, in Matthew 9:37-38, to pray? What
does Jesus mean by “the harvest” and “the harvest field”? Why does Jesus, with a sense of
urgency, instruct us to pray in this way?

5. What, or who, will ultimately draw and place a hunger within people’s hearts to have a
relationship with Jesus Christ? What, or who, will attempt to keep people from desiring a
relationship with Jesus Christ? In what way does knowing these things motivate you to
action?

Oneness with the family of God: Pray for one another in your cell group that you will know
the Lord’s cleansing from self-centredness and the Lord’s
 vision for the harvest of those who are lost without Him.

Working for God: Discuss how you might be able to set aside more time this week to pray for
others who need to come to know about the salvation that we have through
Jesus Christ.

Witnessing for God: Pray for one another in your cell group that you will have the Lord’s
boldness, His open doors, and His clarity to be able to share the truth
of God’s Word with others.
