3rd House and premanent settlement abroad.

Respected astrologers,

My question is:

Can 3rd house and planets placed in it show permanent residence abroad?

Since, 3rd house is 12th from the 4th house..

- 4th lord placed in 3rd shows permanent residence abroad?

- planets placed in the 3rd house shows the period in which one has a chance to go abroad and settle down?

Are there any other combinations that give permanent residence abroad?

Hi MysticRiver,

7th and 12th can show residence abroad:

- lagna lord in 7th
- Moon in 7th
- Sun in 7th

- lagna lord in 12th

- Sun in 12th
- Moon in 12th

the 6th too has some bearing like lagna lord in 6th.
Venus is karaka for foreign residence and must be strong. Venus in 12 in good dignity would help.

the 4H is extremely important:

affliction to the 4th house, I think make it more permanent.
alternatively 4 from Moon.
affliction to the 4th lord.

Rahu/Ketu are important also. They are unconventional. Their presence help.

look at signs too and the qualities of these signs: like Sagittarius and Pisces, movable signs, water signs.
these would help back up other factors.
you need several factors not just the one.

Remember that these days you don't have to cross an ocean to be qualified as living abroad, if you live in another
state/region from your place of birth, but still are within the boundaries of your country of origin, this still qualifies as
abroad.

The 3rd house relates to short trips & changes so in my opinion if someone got abroad through the 3rd house this
would induce many changes of residence or cross-country hopping.

3rd & 9th are journey houses. 3rd for short and 9th for long or far-away places
I don't think those two denote anything permanent.
The 9th has much better chances for that but not all on its own.

Not really.

You must look at:

1) Rahu's footprints on the 4th house.

2)and the association of the 4th house with the 9th and / or 12th.

3) and Rahu's association with the 9th and/ or 12th.

as many of 1) thru 3) that exist in the Rasi chart will enhance the foreign residence possibility.

and then look for the triggers that activate the fructification of such Yogas

4) The trigger-1....whihc will be the MD / AD of the 9, 12th Lord or the planets sitting therein or Rahu

5) The trigger-2...transit of any of the planets as in item-4 conjuncting or aspecting the natal chart formation
supporting the foreign residence as in 1) thru 3)

In case of Rahu's association with 4th and 12th house ,do we also look at the aspects of rahu on these 2 houses
assuming rahu is neither placed in the 4th or 12th house

Respected, Shipa ji and Nina ji,

The information above was highly helpful for me, noted every thing down.

Can you all explain me with an example.?

Details,

1st april 1982.....bangalore..1:00 Am..

She currently is in New Jersy. I Don't know anything about this chart, took it from the residence and travel section of
this site.
Now, since i do not know anything about this chart, and might not know anything about the charts i would read in
future, Where should i start?

Or, Explaining with any other unknown chart, will be of huge help to me and other aspiring astrologers, as it will
certainly help me learn a lot.

I have jupiter in 3rd place with mesh lagna. So jupiter looking at 9th and 12 house.

Any chance to settle abroad ?

Yes association could be either placement or aspect.

Respected Nina ji and shilpa ji,

If you look in my chart almost 99% all factors support to permanent settlement abroad. But still its not matiralized in
my case. I m here at my native place since i born.
1) 4th and 7th lord in 12th house
2) asc lord in 6th house
3) 4th and 7th lord aspect 9th lord
4)Rahu in 12th and afflicted 4th house
5)3rd lord in 12th
6) karak venus is placed in 8th house

Dear anilesh,

your chart does fullfil many base conditions and Yogas for a foreign stay or even settlements
Look at the list of conditions i had put.......trigger-1 and trigger-2 are the ones that have NOT triggered yet.

Without the triggers, even very strong yogas don't fructify in the entire life-time of native.

is there is a trigger coming up in near future for you?.....I will look at it and respond as i get time.

Hello Shilpa,

Can you please explain me about education in foreign countries in my son's chart. When my son is at the age of 6
years we went to England, and we want to come back after 6 years and thought to join him in secondary school in
India.But it didnot happen .Which planets are involved in his chart for continuing his education in foreign land .Will it
be possible for him to complete his graduation in England or he moves to India. Please tell me about that.

Ya shilpa, May be in near future the time come, because Jupiter transit in aries where he is aspecting on 12th from
sitting 8th house(sudden change residence) but rightnow i have Ven-sat dasha is running. Dont see any hope

Well, if you look at my wife's chart she has also so many yogas to settle in abroad.
1) Moon exalted in lagna
2) Rahu placed in third (12th to 4th as per barbara pijan) gives residence in foreign
3) Rahu aspects on 9th
4)4th lord in 6th aspects 12th
5) 7th and 12th lord in 4th ( so 4th house afflicted)

And if you look at current transit, Jupiter is transiting from 12th house in her chart and aspects the 8th house. So it
also shows the sudden change residence. So may be we both move foreign country in this year. Again here she has
also running saturn antardasha (Jup-Sat) dasha.

hi

what are my chances of a long stay abroad? i was already abroad during jup-venus dasha and have recently returned
to india. what are the chances in sun, moon, mars and rahu ad of jup and then in sat md?
dob 24 oct 74 15:12 hrs Thane near mumbai, india.

i work as IT consultant and hence from job perspective the chances are quiet high.

i had posted a similar question under another topic and there are several factors favoring stay abroad. but i dont find
such factors in my wife's chart DoB 2 Aug 1978 22:10 Hrs Pune India. Does she have similar Yogas too?


In my birth chart, rahu is in the 4th house (taurus),

Ascendant lord Saturn (aquarius), in the 9th house (libra), also saturn is the 12th lord.
Venus the yogakarak, is the 4th and the 9th lord is in the 3rd house (aries).

At present i am under the venus mahadasha and the rahu antardasha is to be begin in the next year i.e in the feb 2012,
 So can you tell me whether it will trigger the foreing travel in my case or not.

Date of birth : 29th april 1984

Time: 02:29 Am (indian standard time)
Place: Amreli, Gujarat, india.
