TABLE OF CONTENTS
As we enter the holiday season, the CID membership has been dealing with
one of the most unreasonable and disheartening times when it comes to the Update from your Chief Steward Page 1

In this issue of the Hot Car you will read about the new performance
evaluation system as well as the new performance evaluation appeal
process, which has become much more intense and, frankly, unfair to our
members.

If you wish to appeal your performance evaluation I will need the following
documents:

1. Your FY 2018 and FY 2019 performance evaluation appeal

2. Your initial and interim conference documents for FY 2019 (If you
received them)
3. Any outstanding police work (high profile cases, complex cases,
arrests, etc.)
4. Positive emails from supervisors and managers
5. Positive emails/letters from community members
6. Any other documents/information that can be used to prove your
rating was inaccurate. Please sign up to receive this regular
