Personnel of the CNSC Marching Band & Unit are the staff workers who composed and give some
auxiliary instructions for all activities of the band and majorette. Below are the following composition of
CNSC Band & Majorette Unit and composed personnel with their functions and eligibility:

Categorized Band & Majorette Composition

Marching Band Composition


Marching band is a group in which instrumental musicians perform while marching, often for
entertainment or competition. Instrumentation typically includes brass, woodwind,
and percussion instruments. Most marching bands wear a uniform, often of a military - style, that
includes an associated organization's colors, name or symbol. These are accompanied by a color guard
and twirler during the field activities such parade and exhibition, a group of performers who add a visual
interpretation to the music through the use of props, most often flags, rifles. It is generally categorized
by function, size, age, instrumentation, marching style, and type of show they perform. In addition to
traditional parade performances, many marching bands also perform field shows at sporting events and
at marching band competitions. Increasingly, marching bands perform indoor concerts that implement
many songs, traditions, and flair from outside performances. Below is the categorized sectional

Showband & Orchestra


Showband and orchestra is a combination of strings, wind, percussion instruments showed to play
various songs and perform on stage. Showband is a band that plays cover versions of popular songs.
Orchestra is a group of instrumentalists, especially one combining string, woodwind, brass, and
percussion sections and playing classical music. It is also a part of a theater where the orchestra plays,
typically in front of the stage and on a lower level than the audience. Below is the composition of the
showband & orchestra.
