Vic Armstrong is afraid of nothing.

He has fallen out of windows , jumped off bridges ,ridden a

motorcycle through fire, climbed up the outside of a skyscraper and driven into a wall-because
that's his job.

Vic is a stunt double in films and does things that most of us think are crazy.

Vic was harrison Ford's stunt double in all three early Indiana Jones films including Die Another
Day. ' A job on Bond film is the most fun for a stuntman- I try out the cars , ' says Vic.

His most famous stunt was when he jumped from a horse onto a German tank in one of the
Indiana Jones films. Movie viewers voted this ' one of the ten best stunts of all time'

Vic has broken some bones, but he says that it's part of the job.He now spends more time as a
stunt director , directing other stuntmen. In 2002 he worked on Gangs of New York with one of
this favourite directors, Martin Scorsese. Vic says it was 'great fun'.

Now , after forty years of stunt work , the man without fear feels the same way. Vic still thinks
it's the best job in the world: ' I enjoy my work now as much as when I started,' he says . 'And
now , as a stunt director, I tell other people to fall and jump. And the money is very, very
good'.
