B. Major conclusions of past studies relevant to present research topic

 Social media influencing students learning wherein they are getting addicted day by
day as they use it. Knowing that not all information getting from social media are
entirely true. Therefore students must minimize the use of social media and must be
cautious when using new technologies
 Social media becomes there medium of discussions for their assignment and other
course work and a medium of communication to others. If social media can be
associated with an increased tendency for young people to multi task. But too
engage in social media begs for inappropriate behavior to commence (Gurman
2015)
C. Justification why research should be approved
To see the manifestations if the social media really affects the academic performance of
basic education students. Especially we all know that they are the ones who are prone to
social media. Having a research with that gives teachers reasons when to integrate social
media in students learning and what would be the limitations in using it.

Learners have a proficiency in English even their subjects are Mathematics and Science.
Thus, the proficiency of the students in acquiring English language can also be seen
through the other subjects such as Math and Science since the medium of instruction is
English language used by the teacher.
C. Justification why research should be approved
To see if the CTE newly graduates of k-12 have really acquired the proficiency in English
language. Also to see if same strategies that the teacher used would be effective to the
other students who will take English subjects. If they are ready to acquire broad concepts
about English subjects.

To see if the students can really learn the English language upon undergoing mother
tongue and to analyze what are the instructional materials that is effective in teaching
mother tongue to overcoe the difficulties they might encounter in learning the
language.
